Chapter 16

A/N: another filler.

Monday............

Once I walked into the halls I tried my best to be incognito but clearly not succeeding at it since people were already waiting for me to show up.

As I walked past students I heard them calling me names but I chose to ignore it, desperately digging through my bag for my iPod I'd rather listen music than lunge at the stupid cake faced bitches who think they're better than I am.

All through the weekend I tried reaching Siobhan and Alicia but they seemed to have fallen off the surface of the earth. I hadn't seen them since the party on Friday when I saw them briefly. I was still searching for my iPod when I bumped into someone.

"I am so sorry, I wasn't looking-" I said apologizing until I was cut short by a scornful Hannah.

"You stole my boyfriend and now you want to run me down with your bad luck"

"I didn't steal your boyfriend" I bit back coldly.

"Do you really think he won't cheat on you if you got together? If he cheated on me with you what's to say he won't cheat on you with someone else"

"For the umpteenth time, Alex and I are not together!"

"Then how do you explain the fact that Dean saw you in Alex's house on Saturday wearing Alex's clothes while you were in a comprising position"

"What's compromising about getting a hug when you needed one? And need I remind you that our parents are friends and they work together?"

"That is still not an excuse for being with the person you were accused of hooking"

"You know what? I'm not in the mood for this bullshit" I said clearly pissed before sidestepping away from her and heading to my locker.

"DENY IT ALL YOU WANT. YOU ARE A S-L-U-T!" She yelled after me but instead I chose to ignore it.

Who am I kidding? I lunged at her slamming my fists against her well chiselled nose and soon it was a full out fight with the student body circling and cheering us on, before I was torn away from her by lord knows who managed it and kept me restrained.

"What's going on here?" the principals' voice thundered behind me then Hannah began a full blown acting which only made me want to hit her again but the person who held me knew better because the arm around my waist tensed and tightened.

"Both of you, my office, right now" he said and I was released from the grip, she was also helped up luckily she was smart enough to stay away from me else I'd have tackled her again.

I ended up bearing all the blame since I attacked her first and since there was witness who majority consisted of her Barbie friends, I was outnumbered which earned me two weeks detention.

Great! My life officially sucks! I was already grounded for a month and half already and now I got an extra two weeks detention. Yay life!

The halls were already empty when we were let out of the principals' office with Hannah dashing away, normally I'd have found it funny but I wasn't over jovial at the moment.

Finally I made it to my locker but first period was already gone and second period was half over so I decided to ditch my morning classes, I wasn't ready to deal with people right now especially judgmental teenagers. After cleaning up in the bathroom, thanks to Hannah I was spotting nail scratches on my face.

I lay on the football field with a book shielding my face from the early February sun until it was time for lunch then made my way to the cafeteria to find Alicia and Siobhan.

When I got there they weren't there so I decided to wait for them, sooner or later they were bound to turn up anytime soon. I really needed my friends besides Siobhan could never say no to food.

"I am so disappointed Denise, of all the gorgeous boys in the student body not that Alex isn't gorgeous but you could've chosen someone else to hook up with" Siobhan said as she sat beside me.

"You guys don't believe me as well?" I asked

"I believe you, even if you'd hooked up with Alex I wouldn't have judged you dean was already begging for it" Alicia said shocking Siobhan and I.

"What do you mean?" shiv asked

"Come on don't tell me I was the only one that saw it coming, " she said rolling her eyes looking pointedly at me but I chose to ignore the underlying message.

"True, so what was it like being with Alex? I heard he's real good in that aspect" shiv asked wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"I wouldn't know since I never actually did it with him"

"What? Didn't you guys share a kiss? Why didn't you tell us about that?"

"Because I didn't want you guys to judge me or think I'm cheap"

"We would never judge you because we're friends and friends don't judge each other" shiv said

"Just promise us you will never keep such juicy stories from us, I might not like Alex but if he makes you happy so am I" Alicia said.

"For fucks sake, Alex and I are not together we're just tolerating each other"

"So how was the kiss?" shiv asked again.

"It was okay, I guess"

"You guess? That means you don't know"

"It was one kiss shiv, just one"

"So will you be doing it again anytime soon?"

"NO! Now stop badgering" I am so glad I've got friends like these; everyone should have someone like Siobhan or Alicia in their life.

We all need friends that won't judge us for the mistakes we make, and friends that will whether the storm with us no matter the circumstances or how heavy it might get.
