~Location: Serin High School Gymnasium~

~Pov: 1st~

~Character: (F. Name) (L. Name)~

Alas I was right. The second years were making a comeback. And I was correct about their abilities. The male I sketched earlier, well his eyes anyways, was shooting better. His eyes were focused, the calmness gone. So he is a clutch shooter.

Bad joke guy was avoiding jerk face as silent guy and cat guy blocked him. The other player which I had forgotten about honestly, well... I wasn't sure since I didn't care. Kuroko suddenly spoke to a fellow first year. "Excuse me. Can you pass me the ball?" The first year nodded but looked extremely confused.

I merely smiled. Finally, finally, finally, I can play. Time to show girls can play too! The first year did pass to Tetsu and Tetsuya tipped it to me. I then tipped it to the first year by the net. He looked startled but shot anyways at jerk face's demand.

"It... it went in. H-how?" The clutch shooter stuttered almost mortified that I broke past all of their defenses with a single touch to the ball. Misdirection was quite simple to explain. The ball seemed to move on its own since everyone watched the basketball instead of the players. Tetsuya and I were safe from being seen this way. Tetsuya's low presence also helped him out a lot when it came to his misdirection.

This continued for a bit. Tetsu passing to me, I pass to someone else, neither of us touching it for very long. The second years had no idea what was happening, and the looks on their faces was down right hilarious. A sudden break was called and everyone grouped up for small strategy talk. Of course jerk face was being a jerk so Kuroko kneed him behind his knees.

Jerk face cringed and turned a deadly glare at my blue haired friend. The first years were cowaring and the tall, red haired male swung at Tetsu. I slip in and grab his wrist and put pressure on the pressure point. The male howled in pain as I held a frown on my face.

By now I knew the coach noticed our presences. It was expected honestly. Kuroko only nodded at my intervention. I nodded back and let go. Jerk face grabbed his hurting wrist. I didn't go for his shooting one thankfully for him. That would've been bad.

By the time the game was almost done, the score was almost tied. Kuroko suddenly passed the ball to me and I held it in my grasp. Allowing everyone and anyone to see me. I smirked as I shot. Using my shooting abilities. Thank goodness that green haired idiot was on our team in Middle School.

The ball landed in the net perfectly and everyone besides Tetsuya was gaping at me. But... I had already vanished. Kuroko and I fist bumped like he used to with Aomine. Honestly, as much of a prick that guy could be I missed him. His snarkish comments always made me want to punch him. But now I couldn't do that. Kise, the annoying crybaby always made me feel motherly.

And everyone around me seemed strong and didn't need someone. Shintaro... well he and I liked to bicker about shooting and class problems. My tall, purple haired, giant friend always pestered me for sweets, and I actually enjoyed those trips when I got to see a childish side to him. And Sejuro... well we got along well. Dated at one point until that other side of him came out. I broke the relationship in fear of what would happen.

But now I'm always wondering what would've happened if we stayed together. A frown appeared on my face as I felt a hand on my shoulder. I glanced over. Tetsu. He held a small frown on his face, looking concerned. I forced a smile and waved it off. I have to focus. No time for reminiscing about the past when you can't change it.
