Predator [UNDER EDITING]

Update

Hello, everyone! I hope all of you are well and staying safe. This chapter is all about the revised version of Predator. This is also meant to be a place for anyone to ask questions relating to Predator, regardless of which version. So let's delve into it!

Release date:

I, sadly, still do not have an actual release date, yet. The reason being that with everything going on, I've had more freetime to write than I expected, so more progress has been made. So the release date of the revised version may be sooner than anticipated, or may, yet, be delayed until late July. As soon as I come up with a solid release date, I'll let all of you amazing readers know!

How much will be changing?

Quite a bit will be changed. I know this isn't quite what I've been saying, but as I've been working on the general plot, and each section of it, I've found that by making such changes it gives me more freedom to make the story more unique, while still following the manga/anime.

Such changes include: (F. Name)'s personality, school choice, interactions with the Miracle Generation, characters, and (F. Name)'s family. I'll explain everything in detail. Shall we?

Personality:

As mentioned in the previous section, (F. Name)'s personality is undergoing some changes. This is to make a stronger main character, who sticks to her goals unless something stronger influences her otherwise. Yes, this may make her seem more stubborn, bull headed, and close minded, but I'd like readers to keep in mind everything (F. Name) has been through: her standing in the school taken; her love of the sport was shattered; the group she thought she could trust backstabbed her; her family has financial troubles; her parents are looking at divorce; and she believes she has no other options besides getting revenge on those who wronged her. This would be a massive mental strain on a lot of people, more so on a teenager who's still finding herself and what she wants to do in life. (So there's my argument.)

Since there are going to be changes, (F. Name) may act differently towards the Miracle Genners, and their chosen teams. Sorry for you Kuroko lovers, even he is not spared from (F. Name)'s hatred. (F. Name) will probably be harder to like, but there will be a personality change throughout the story as others begin to understand how she's feeling, and she has to decide whether to be consumed by her revenge and hatred, or to let go of the negative emotions and start over.

School choice:

Ah, school choice. This was the hardest thing for me to decide on, but eventually I decided to create an entirely new school for the purposes of this story. You may remember them from the previous chapter's teaser (which I've removed as I've fleshed out the story, sorry). Hokori Academy will be (F. Name)'s school choice, as it gives me much more freedom to play around and get other characters in earlier than if she attended one of the schools in the actual series. (Haha, like the current version that makes me cringe sometimes.)

Basically, Hokori Academy is a top ranked school, and thanks to some of it's students, (F. Name) manages to pass the exam and get into the school (sorry for minor spoilers? I figured it would be pretty obvious, Teiko isn't an average school after all.), while also joining the boys basketball team. However, this time she's not a player. What she is I shall not say, yet.

So with the introduction of a completely new school that also means there's brand new characters!
