I remember when life was simple. When being a fourteen year old girl wasn't difficult. When I didn't have to run everyday, as fast as I could, to an unknown destination. When my parents accepted me. When everything was just a birth defect...

But of course, all good things come to an end. But, who is to say an end can't be a beginning in disguise. You just have to cross the ending line and find the start again. No matter how far you might have to look.

For me, my life of having a normal Scottish family of farmers ended abruptly, sending me into the life of a very peculiar Welsh family. My parents traded for a falcon more loving than anyone could have ever wished for.

Never would I have ever expected that the falcon I had grown to love was the same falcon that helped me realize what my family wouldn't understand. For, that was the same falcon that chirped out of my window.

    The true Chirping Falcon.
