Chapter 9

Alec was walking in the park before he stopped in his tracks. He saw Magnus sitting on a bench. Alec was gonna turn around, but then Jace came out of nowhere and stood next to him. Jace told him, "You have to go talk to him sometime might as well be now."

Alec looked at Jace for a while before replying, "You set this up didn't you?"

Jace stood there and said, "No, Isabelle and Simon helped me. We need you to talk to him."

Alec said, "Okay."

Alec walked over to where Magnus was sitting. He looked into his green, yellow cat eyes and said, "Hello, Magnus."

Clary is laying on her bed thinking When is jace going to break me out? A knock interrupted her thoughts. One of Sebastian's servants came in. She said, "Sebastian wanted me to tell you that he'll be leaving today."

Clary said, "Okay, when is he going to be back?" Clary hoped never.

She said, "I think he'll be out all day."

Clary asked, "What's your name?"

The servant replied, "Susan."

Clary couldn't keep her curiosity contained, "You seem nice why are you Sebastian's servant?"

She looked around and pulled up her sleeve. She said pointing to a rune, "He put a rune on me where I can't leave." In a whisper she adds, "I'll try to help you because I'm not on his side I'm on yours."

Magnus was shocked to see his ex-boyfriend standing in front of him. He misses him alot. Magnus see's Alec looking at him so he looked into his blue eyes. Alec was the one who broked the silence. "Hello, Magnus"

Magnus replied, "Hello, Alec. How have you been?"

Alec replies, "Miseriable without you."

"I feel the same way. I wish I could take back what I said to you that night."

Alec replies, "I miss you, Magnus."

Magnus replies, "I miss you to."
