*Connor's POV*

I woke up the next morning and the sun gleaming from my window made it hard to see. I turned my head toward my door and saw Toby standing there. His cheeks were red and his eyes puffy.

"You lied to me." He said softly.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him.

"You promised! You lied!" His voice was getting louder and it cracked through his sobs.

"Toby, what're you-" Before I could finish he was gone and I could here his bedroom door slam shut. I sighed and got out of bed.

As I made my way to Toby's room to talk to him something caught my eye. I could see Riley's suitcase packed at the end of his bed. I walked into his room and Riley came into view. He was sitting at his desk with his head down.

"Ri..."

"They're making me go back there." He stated and there was a scared tone in his voice. He lifted his head up and stared straight ahead. "I don't want to go back there." He stood up now and his eyes were glassing over. He grabbed my shirt with both his hands. "Connor, don't let them take me there! Please!" He pleaded. I put my hands on his and his grip released from my shirt. I pulled him into a hug and just let him cry. I didn't let him see it but a tear escaped my eye too.

I headed downstairs passing Toby's room along the way. I saw him lying on his bed. I stopped in the doorway and he looked up. He glared at me and then turned over so he wasn't looking at me.

"Toby, I'm sorry." I said but he didn't respond. I decided to let it go for now and keep heading downstairs.

When I reached the kitchen I saw my parents standing there with coffee in there hands discussing something. I walked over to the fridge and pulled out orange juice. I poured myself a glass. When I looked up both sets of my parents eyes were on me.

"Good morning, sweety." My mom said cheerfully.

I took a sip of my orange juice and then set it down on the counter forcefully, "Why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?" My dad asked playing dumb.

"Why are you doing this to him? It's not going to make him any better."

"Connor, the top doctors work at this facility. They will help him." My mom said trying to keep things calm.

"They didn't help before. What makes you think they'll help now?" My voice was strict.

"Connor, please, it's what's best for him."

"You might be his parents but you have no clue what's best for him." I put my glass in the dishwasher and then walked back upstairs before anyone could say anything.

On my way to my room Toby stopped me.

"Are they still sending him there?" he asked and I closed my eyes and sighed. I nodded and the next thing I heard shattered me. "You're our older brother You're supposed to protect us! You promised you wouldn't let them take him back there! You lied to me! I HATE YOU!" Toby yelled and then pushed past me. I don't know where he ran to this time nor did I care. His words just kept running through my mind.

I looked up to see Riley and he gave me a sorry look, "I know you tried." He said and then picked his bag up. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders one more time before walking downstairs. I watched from my bedroom window as the car pulled out of the driveway. When I couldn't see the car anymore I cried. I cried until my tear ducts were dry. I heard the downstairs door open. The footsteps went upstairs and to Toby's room.

I didn't bother to talk to him cause I knew I'd get no response. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to talk to me either.
