"Good Morning Sawyer, how was your night? It's quite a pleasure finally seeing your lovely face everyday, contrary to the past few years─"
"Yes, Sawyer," Remus Lupin sighed as he watched the girl walking side by side with him. It was truly beyond him how she had the energy to bug him so early in the morning. He woke up because her and Meeko came to his dorm and started arguing- why did she always argue with a cat? "It is a pleasure, but you woke me up early, and it's weekend."
"It's a Hogsmeade weekend, and I need you to tell me what gift you want. And don't give me the chocolate pack solution, I've heard it quite enough."
"I don't need much more than sweets," he admitted wearily, stopping a yawn. "Besides, wouldn't it be better to buy your friends gifts? I've been seeing you with the Weasley twins and their friends quite a bit."
"Don't worry, I've got more than enough money to buy all five of you a nice gift─ Oh I'd probably have to buy the rest of the Weasley's something too. I need to get Charlie's adress in Romania─"
"Hold on," Remus stopped in his tracks. There was something odd about it, since she's never bought anyone but him any gift, yet now she suddenly has enough money to buy many gifts. "What've you been up to?"
"I've been giving private lessons."
"Wha..." Remus trailed off. "In what?"
"All subjects. It's really funny to catch up to Ancient Runes of Sixth years in two days and watch them gape at me."
"Then... How've you been getting O's in all subjects?" Remus frowned. Sawyer always had straight O's in all subjects easily, but it seemed that she now didn't even study to do it, yet it was still the reality. "Do you sleep or anything?"
"Seven hours a night, I mostly read it in History of Magic," she stood still for a moment, "would you mind it if we carry on walking to the Hall?"
Remus started walking again, looking confused. "You still have O's in all of the subjects, right?"
"Yup."
"And you've been reading later years material?" She nodded simply as they passed some Gryffindors that greeted the two. "Good enough to help other students?"
"I guarantee a rise to at least A in just three sessions," she grinned widely. "Though most have been getting E."
"You're amazing, have I told you that?"
"Never, actually," Sawyer informed, looking surprised.
"But you should be a Slytherin," he mused, making her frown.
"Not true!" She objected, Meeko meowing angrily at Remus behind her.
"Sure thing, Sawyer," he teased lightly, walking ahead.
"Remus Lupin! Take that back!"
"I'm your Professor, would you like a detention?"
He only laughed when she took out her wand, her face and ears burning and asked him in all seriousness; "would you rather being glued to the floor or have jelly legs?"
She never got her answer.

She kicked the snow with her feet as Meeko ran around, chasing a leaf that was flying in the soft wind. It was cold, but it didn't really bother her. Her red striped scarf was hiding the lower half of her face, black sweater loosely hanging as she stared at nothing.
Nothing she's ever seen has bothered nearly as much as this has. Nothing's ever touched her like that; then again, nothing's ever concerned her.
