Monica was working at the hospital for this week she was coming put the staff room when ahe saw the girl from Kerry's gifts shop standing over someone she went over and saw Kerry
"Kerry " she called and she look around monica could see her paleness taking her file saying she will see her ,"what happen "she ask
" she fainted "the girl told her Monica told Kerry were to go and the girl was to wait where she was but Kerry told her she should go back to work that she would be alright
Monica ran some test her blood pressure was normal and her heart condition was good lungs too she she pee in a small container and Monica test it her eyes pop open she went back to the room
" Kerry you're fine "Monica said Kerry look at her wondering how when she was feeling so
" you're having symptom's "
"What symptoms?"
"Symptoms of a pregnant woman Kerry you're three weeks pregnant"
"Her eyes were filled with tears " but I can't be ,I'm not suppose to be "
"I'm afraid you are" Monica told her and I'm afraid you will have to stay here to night "
"I have my son to collect and my sister don't get off from work until five or six"
"You are Carry too much stress you need to relax believe me he'll be fine " Kerry open her mouth to say something but Monica had already close the door
She call Kirkland on his work number his secretary answer and put him trough
"Is everything alright" Kirkland ask
"Kerry is in the hospital " Monica told him
He sprang to his feet "what happen Monica?"
"She fainted she's pregnant Kirkland three weeks"
Kirkland was shock
"I'm coming now" he hand up and rush out telling his secretary to take his messages When Monica call again he had already left so she had to call his cellular phone he pick up quickly
"Kerry need her son picked up from school"she told him he hang up and call his mother who didn't hesitate to go,
Kirkland got to the hospital and Monica show him where Kerry was she was laying down with her eyes close he call his mother to find out if she got the boy already she did and take him to her house and was watching him he just told her Kerry was in the hospital but give no no detail of what had happened
Kerry open her eyes as he came in he pull up a chair and sit near her bed a single red rose in his hand he hand it to her when she sat up
" how you feeling ?" Kirkland ask
"I'm so sorry Kirkland "
What's there to be sorry about"
"I lie to you "
"About what?"
That morning on the day of your wedding when you had spend half the night on the couch some thing  did happened "Kirkland lean towards the bed
" we had sex ,she turn to look at him you came over drunk from your bachelor party you hold me and kiss me I try to stop you but though you were drunk you still were a lot stronger  we did so twice "she was crying but he just let her when you didn't remember I thought it was best to keep it to my self you were getting married and leaving town anyway then I found out I was " she sob harder pregnant since you were already married and living your life and I had already told you nothing happened "
He got up lean over her he was kissing her when Monica came in to tell  her her time was up and her sister would come later she smile at Kirkland rubbing  his cheek  "you coming by later " she ask he could go but only for a short time for he will have to hurry to get home to his son , he nod "yes I will,
Monica said OK and left ,Kirkland told Kerry that the boy was with his mother
" thanks  for helping "
"That's easy friends do things for each other" he lean over and kiss her
"This is a hospital " Stacey said when she came to find them
"You're hear early " Kerry said
"nonsense my sister isn't well and what I know if she heard I was fainting she would reach to make sure I didn't hit the floor"
Kerry and Kirkland smile
"So what did they say ?"
"I'm pregnant"
"She's pregnant"
They both told
Stacey held her mouth wide open
"Well I'll leave you two to talk I'll bring the boy by to see you tomorrow afternoon"
"The boy's name is kirky " Stacey said figuring he had heard that he was his
He smile "think I can remember the that he kiss kerry resting his hand on her tummy we're going to do this right this time and make up for lost time, i  love you "
"I love you " Kerry told him
"That was easy" Stacey said when he left, he's an understanding guy and he's sweet too.
Kerry felt more relax when her sister left she was able to go to sleep with out feeling worried.
Kirkland sat in front Jake as he giggle and talk about being right he was really the Boy's father,
"Congrats man ' you won "
Kirkland told Jake
"No man congratulation to you you're a daddy, it feels good doesn't it" Jake said "man , its a feeling I imagined I'm going to enjoy being a father"
They smile Jake pat his shoulder welcome to my world my friend".Kirkland have one drink with Jake, before he left he calls his mother and she  told him he was a sleep in her room he got home home and head straight to his mother room to look for his son  he was standing over him when Hella return to her room,she didn't hear him come in
"Honey " Hella said is everything alright "she ask
"Hey mom" Kirkland said "yeah it's alright"
"How his kerry, why was she in the hospital ?"
"She is still there but she is feeling better " he turn to face his mother "she's pregnant mom with my child and something did happen between us before I left for new York it was how she got pregnant with kirky, she explain why she didn't tell me before but mom I want to do you his right and i need your support"
"Boy !don't be stupid " Hella said slaping him "how can you want what you always have ,I supported you even when you chose to marry her " she point to the room Marsha was in Kirkland smile I love you mom he kiss her cheek bend over to kiss Kirkland
"Daddy " he said changing side but his eyes didn't open Kirkland smile goosebumps covered his skin
"That's right its daddy and I'm here" he said, hekiss him again " and I won't go anywhere this time" his phone rang and he answer Kerry sweet but sleepy voice came over the phone she just call to tell him that if kirky wasn't wake and put to use the bath room he's likely to wet the bed
He told her not to worry "mom and I have it covered ,I love you"
Hella was use to hearing him tell Kerry he loves her many times but something different in the way it sound  now he hang up and put the little boy to use the bath room then went to his room
Marsha jump up when he walk in
"Baby I've been waiting for you" Kirkland look at her she was dress in a minni  red thin night dress when he look at her he see that nothing was beneath it
"Let's give it another try we can try to make  that baby you want "
" that's OK I'm not in need of a baby any more what I need now is to get divorce what we didn't have was for the best.
"You want to devorce me? I will take every thing you have "
"No problem " he told her walking out he spend the night in a nother room, kirky was up and running  about he tan to him soon as he came out the room
"Daddy!" He said excitedly he ran to Kirkland and he picked him up  hug him to his body
"Where's my mom?" He ask
Marsha look at them and turned feeling disgusted she was angry with herself also for all he ask for was a child it would make no use trying to make it right for he already ask for a divorce
"You 'll  see your mom later but for now you will have to get ready for school " he set him to his feet
"Let granny help "
"I'll get some stuff for him later "
"OK, so aren't you going to work ?"
"I am "
"Go ahead then I can manage here" Hella said
" thanks mom"
"What for he's my grandson and I've been waiting for this day "
Kirkland smile
"Later daddy " kirky said waving Kirkland hug him
"Daddy loves you"
"Love you too. Kirkland talk to Kerry on the way out  she was still thanking him for looking after kirky but it was no trouble even if he wasn't his he would still do it because of the way he feels about Kerry and no matter what he could never get angry at her he told her he would see her later amd hang up he check to see the time he still has more time to spear before work start at nine and instead of going straight there he went to visit  Rose though she didn't speak she seems real glad to see him she rub his cheek and squeeze his hand he talk to her tell her about the baby Kerry was having  when he was ready to leave she got up from her bed and hug him taking his face between her palm pull his head to her and kiss his forehead he left with her walking a step behind watching him  when he was in his car he wave and she wave back,
Doctor has seen so much improvement since that young man start coming to visit taking her for walks and talking to her she still wasn't talking but she was responding more now the did or knew if she keep improving this way she will be able to get back to her normal way of living.
Hella was glad to carry her grandson to school that she drove herself she haven't in a while and it felt good to be doing so she went shopping that was ms Parker job but she wanted to buy things for Kirkland he had spend the night in his father old T-shirt that was his favorite when he was kirky's age she bought three shirts his size underwear , toothbrush , toothpaste and grape juice 
his father had told her he would get things from his house so she wasn't going to do too much though she didn't see anything wrong in over doing it he is her grand son she felt good to know she has a grandchild and a nother on the way it was what her child wanted and thank god that finally her Kirkland face fatherhood and she a grandmother,
Kerry was laying down she was relax but miss her son Monica had came in to see her she talk with her they were never usually close but they were closer now these few days Kerry was glad for the chat being at the hospital make her nervous though she wasn't really sick and at leas it help her to rest and she really needed it she want to see her mother too but she will soon as she gets home not that she wasn't been care for and they did pay their money between herself and Stacey they make sure the payment wasn't late but she feels better when she goes to see her, Stacey had brought her corn chips for it was what her stomach and as asking for she wasn't vomiting thank god for she hate that she vomited so much with kirky as if she would vomit him out now it felt like something weighty was on her chest she lay on her back so she could breathe more freely while  trying to get comfortable she close her eyes and was almost asleep when kirky voice echo in the room
"Mon!" He jump on the bed and she sat up holding him close to her
"Mommy missed you money"
"I came with grandma"
Kerry look up and Hella was standing at the door she thought Kirkland came with him she was  a shame to look at Hella wondering what she is thinking about her now
"Hey honey" Hella said  coming to her bed side "how're you my dear ?"
"I'm fine" Kerry said over the lump in her throat,
"Were you a nice boy?" Kerry ask kirky
"Yes he was, don't worry your self the boy is fine he's with family you rest yourself I'm not so old that I can't handle a five year old and he and ms parker get on so well he's never out of attention"
"Thanks ms Hella"
"What for Kerry ?" Hella ask taking her hand "no thank you you gave my son children and it was all he asked for Hella let kirky  spend time with Kerry before leaving walking out with Monica when her time was up and she came to tell Kerry goodbye.
Mark came with Stacey a Kirkland arrived in the parking lot they walk up together Kerry was  asleep when they came up Kirkland wake her
" hey "she said when she sat up
" hey" mark said coming to her bed side
"You came " Kerry said  surprise to see mark  for he wasn't a hospital kind of man
"I wanted to see how you were "
"You have no idea how that makes me feel"
Stacey smile she came and hug her sister
"How is mom?" Kerry ask
Mom is fine Kerry she's been taking care of am taking tomorrow off and going to spend some time with her "
"Okay, you will tell her I love her?"
"She knows that Kerry " Stacey said and stop worrying about  mom OK "
Kerry nod Stacey knew that ment nothing it was just to end the conversation .
They stay a while before leaving Kirkland stay back
With her they talk about the baby on the way he told her he was getting a divorce as soon as he's able to,they talk about kirky ,Kirkland wants to change his name get it in his Kerry would like that more than anything she was glad it was working out.
He kiss her goodnight Kerry miss him when he left but she get to rest for she falls asleep soon after he left .
