Bria's P.O.V
I had to think about it for a while and really process what he just said.
Bria: What?
Devin: I want to be in his life. Ive already missed so much and i want to make up for it.
Bria: There is nothing to make up. These years never would have happened if you had just knew your boundaries. Then you wouldnt have gone to jail and i would have never had jaden.
Devin: And im sorry that we both took it the wrong way but we have him now. He needs to know who his father is so we have to learn to cooperate.
Bria: No, we dont have anything. I have him. I took care of him along woth my family and you didnt do shit but rot in jail.
I grabbed my bag and was about to walk away with Ambri right behind me when he grabbed my arm and pulled me back to where i was standing.
Devin: Dont walk away from me. We need to talk about this.
Bria: There is nothing to talk about.
I saw Jaden walk towards us in the corner of my eye. Devin stooped to his level and rubbed his hair.
Devin: hey little man
Bria: Dont touch him.
I lightly grabbed jadens arm and pulled him to me so he'd be away from Devin. The same guy who hit on Ambri came over to us.
???: Is he bothering you?
Bria: Actually, yes he is.
Devin: i dont think thats any of your buissness.
???: Man just walk away,she dont want to talk to you.
Devin: Nigga, you dont know me, back the fuck up.
While they were arguing i took that as an opportunity to dip and go home. I picked up Jaden and walked away with Ambri. We got into the house and i just sat on the couch and sighed deeply.
Tj: Whats wrong Babe.
She sat next to me on the couch and layed her head on my stomach. Next thing i know i start crying.
Tj: Babe,whats going on?
She got off of me and looked at me with a worried face.
Bria:(crying) He's Back.
Tj: Who's Back?
I didnt say anything and just keot crying.
Ambri's P.O.V
I heard Bria Crying as i was giving Jaden a bath cause he was all sweaty. Jamie came in worried.
Jamie: Whats wrong with Bria?
Ambri: Nothung just... finish bathinf him for me.
Jamie: Ok.
I got up,dried my hands and went into the living room. TJ saw me and then came over to me.
TJ: Who the hell is back?!
Ambri:(sighs) its Devin,he wants to be in Jadens life.
TJ: He What?!
Ambri: We were playing basketball and he came up to us.
TJ looked mad and her hands were balled up into fists.
TJ: That nigga aint going no where near my child.
Ambri: listen dont worry about him,we'll deal with it later. Just comfort your wife.
She looked at bria crying and her face softened.
TJ: Ight man.go have fun with Jamie.
Ambri: Thank you.
I smilled at her and walked away to go get ready.
