We put on a smile to hide the pain
But hope someone would look
Hard enough to realize it's fake
We find it easier to hide who we are
And banish out thoughts behind
Hundreds of scars
But the scars become addicting
It's all we know to do
Even if a slip of you hand
Can lead to your doom
A fake smile to hide our pain
But maybe if we cried it would all go away
