Harry held me close to his chest, shushing me softly as he ran his long slender fingers through my hair.
I sobbed violently as Edward played with Darcy downstairs. They were running around and laughing, totally oblivious to the world around them.
"I-it was him, Harry. It was Zayn." I cringed at his name as more hot tears rolled down my red stained cheeks.
"No, Rosie...it was only a demon that looked like him." He whispered soothingly.
"The demons are supposed to be gone. Why are they back?"
"Because you two are back together." Edna sighed, walking right up into the attic.
(Insert tv applause here)
"Edna!" Edward cried with joy, jumping into her arms.
"I told you to stay downstairs." I mumbled, quickly wiping my tears away.
I grabbed Darcy, putting her on my hip before she could run over to Edna. She reached up to wipe a stray tear from my cheek.
"Why does mommy cry?" She whispered so only I could hear her.
I tilted my head slightly. "Mommy? I'm not your mommy, Darcy."
"Daddy loves you more than he loves mommy...so you're my new mommy."
I let out a shaky breath before slowly shaking my head at the floor. "No honey, your daddy loves your mommy. That's the way it is, that's the way it's supposed to be."
She was about to speak again as Harry scooped her up in his arms, hugging her tightly. His eyes met mine.
Those beautiful emeralds were wearily staring back at me. Pleading for me to understand something...that I couldn't quite grasp.
"Rose!" A familiar Irish voice screamed before I was picked up and spun around in the air.
"Niall!" I laughed as he covered my face in hundreds of kisses. I hugged him so tightly, I never wanted to let him go.
"I've missed you so fooking much." He mumbled in my hair, making me nod slowly.
"Your Irish is showing, Ni." I chuckled as I pulled away from him.
He covered his crotch with both hands with a little giggle. Liam walked up to me, engulfing me in a huge bear hug.
"Daddy Payne almost missed you as much as I did." Niall smirked, causing Liam to roll his eyes.
"It is a bit true though." He mumbled in my ear before Louis pushed him out of the way.
"I'm not much of a hugger...but I've missed you so damn much." I wrapped my arms around the smol bean in front of me.
(Hehe)
The three of them hugged Harry and Darcy, Louis ruffled her hair and Niall gave her a sweet kiss on the forehead.
I felt a small tug on the bottom of my jeans, making me glance down to the floor. Edward stood there with his thumb in his mouth, glancing around nervously.
"M-mommy who are they?"
"They're-"
"You're uncles, buddy!" Harry smiled, picking him up off the ground. "This is uncle Liam, uncle Louis, and uncle Niall." He pointed to all of them.
Edwards cheeks grew bright red and his round eyes grew wider. I was afraid that he'd start crying but before he could shed a tear, Niall took his small hands in his.
"What's your name?"
"E-Edward Niall Thorne." My anxious boy stated his full name, making Liam chuckle as Harry rubbed his back.
Niall's face lit up like the sun. "Your middle name is my name!" He quickly glanced at me with happy tears in his eyes and a big grin on his goofy face. "Rose! That's my name!"
I chuckled lightly while nodding. Edward laughed as Niall blew raspberries on his little tummy.
Liam had his arms crossed over his chest as he spoke seriously to Edna who rubbed her forehead weakly, a familiar green ring still on her finger.
Louis sat on my bed with Darcy on his lap, letting her tell him about her favorite gummy bear flavors.
I quickly grabbed Harry's upper arm, pulling him down into the library. He smiled down at me while I stood with my arms crossed.
"Harry, you can't introduce Edward to people like that. He gets anxiety around strangers."
He just rolled his eyes at me. "It's only the boys. Plus, he was fine."
"Harry...please. I know you want to be in his life. But you have to get to know him before you can just go around acting like you do. For his own sake." I pleaded with tired eyes, earning a small scoff.
"I don't understand why you're being so uptight about this, he's my son too. I can parent him as I wish."
I narrowed my eyes at him. "As a parent who has a child of your own, I thought you'd understand. You don't know Edward, Harry. Please, just get to know him. Be the father he needs."
"'Be the father he needs'? I am being that, Rosie! But you're acting like you don't want me in his life at all." Harry challenged, crossing his own arms over his chest.
"I would never want you out of his life. I basically grew up without a father, Harry. Why would you even think for a second that I would want that for my son? I hate to say this..." I looked up into his eyes, suddenly his features softened. "But you're not the Harry I love."
