>ROSIE'S POV<

I'm in the middle of a painful battle.

I can feel Luci in my veins. It stings with a horrible burning sensation. I tried fighting against him...but I'm not strong enough.

A heartbeat rings through my ears. It's not his, or mine. It's my baby's.

I can't imagine how excited Edward will be when I tell him he's getting a little sibling. If I get out of this alive, that is.

My teeth clenched as I threw my head back. Agonized gasps rippled through my throat like fire.

I never felt so much pain before. I felt as if my heart was about to explode at any minute. I could hear voices in my head, the spirits I used to always hear.

She's dying

Rosie's dying

Her baby is dying

Harry is dying

Edward is dying

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I shaked my head violently, trying to push them out. I swallowed the large lump in my throat.

"You're a coward, Luci." I spat out in between wheezing breaths.

"And how did you come to that conclusion, Rose Thorne?" His voice sounded as if it were softly fading in and out.

"You've chosen the easy way out." I quickly licked my chapped lips before smiling. "You decided to possess me instead of fight. But then again, that is quite like you, isn't it?"

His yellow eyes blinded my vision before I felt a sharp pain in my back, like I was being stabbed. I groaned out, lurching forward in my seat.

"Don't forget who has the upper hand in this, Rose."

"In not afraid of you, Luci. I banished you once, I can do it again."

He scoffed, pacing around on the floor. "Stop using that fucking name. It's Lucifer now, you idiot. Why do you still call me by that ridiculous name?"

"Because..." I began slowly, feeling my heartbeat increase rapidly. My fingertips burned suddenly. "All you'll ever be is a magey little...cat!"

As I screamed at him, the house shook, making him stumble back. The veins under my skin grew a bright neon red. I ripped my arms away from the chair I was in, snapping the chains that held me there.

I quickly bent down to free my ankles, but Luci was quicker. As I freed myself, his hand wrapped around my neck, slamming me into the wall.

I laughed like a crazy lady as blood stained my teeth and dripped down my bottom lip. I spat it on his face, making him grimace.

I grabbed the sides of his face, still smiling like the happiest girl in the world.

"Luci...when I'm with you, I feel insane. And at first, I depised the feeling. But now I've realized that it's just because I'm a Clairvoyant, and well...we've all got a little evil in us."

His eyes widened as I threw him at the wall, making his body slump down. I walked over, picking him back up with one hand.

"If you joined me, you could really embrace your insanity." He spoke through clenched teeth.

"Oh, but I already have. I'm still the same Rose I've always been. But when it comes to my family, I will fucking kill you."

I threw him once more, a sickening crack echoed through the room as I made my way to the door. I wiped the blood from my chin before walking out.
