I don't know what to say...
I sobbed when I reached 1k reads, so you can imagine how much of a mess I am right now.
Yes, The Boy From 1917 has reached 100k readers. When I wrote that book, I had no idea that even one person was going to read it.
I used to write fanfics for my own enjoyment. I actually pretended that people read them. Sounds kinda sad actually lmao but no, it was all fun.
Then all of a sudden...I got a vote on a chapter. And another, and another. Then people started commenting.
I remember one morning about a year or so ago, I received 53 notifications. I literally jumped up and down in excitement.
I can't keep track of everyone who votes and comments on my stories anymore. At the end of TBF1917, I thanked everyone, but now there's too many people.
But I know that there are two people who have been reading basically all my books from the beginning. Hazzahoo94 and chonces21 . You guys were the first people to ever comment on my book. You've inspired me greatly to this day.
Thank you to everyone who has read even a chapter of one of my books. This means the world to me. Lmao, it sounds like I'm rehearsing for receiving an award.
If I could go back in time and talk to my 13 year old self, I know exactly what I'd say. At that time, as I said before, I was just writing for myself. I was shocked when 10 people read my book.
I'd simply say, "We made it."
Once again, thank you all so so so much. I can never thank y'all enough. I love you guys. New updates this weekend.
