It's been a week since Harry and I got into that argument. I've seen Zayn more than I'd care to admit.
I glanced out of the attic window, holding my locket in between two fingers. I caught a glimpse of Harry from across the street.
He too was at his window, staring out at me. The curtains to his window quickly fell shut, making me sigh sadly.
I just got him back, and we're already doing the stupid stuff we used to. I hate it, but I can't do anything about it.
"Mommy, when is daddy coming back?"
My eyes squeezed shut at my son's voice. His words made my heart physically ache.
"I..." I bit my lip, letting a lone tear roll down my cheek. "I don't know, sweetheart."
"Mommy..." Edward grabbed at my legs, making me pick him up. "Don't cry mommy. Please don't. Angels don't cry, remember?"
I smiled at him as he sweetly wiped my tears away. He squished my face, kissing my cheeks. I gave him Eskimo kisses, causing soft giggles to fill the room.
I couldn't imagine what Harry was doing at this time. It scared me to think that he and Darcy were in the same house as that woman.
"I miss Darcy." Edward yawned, wiggling around in my arms.
I pressed a kiss to his white and brown curls. I rocked him slightly as I carried him down to his room.
"I know, honey. I do too." I murmured as I laid him down.
He watched me with wide eyes as I pulled the blanket up over him, kissing his forehead. I handed him his dinosaur stuffed animal, moving a single curl from his eyes.
I smiled at him before walking back towards the door. I blew him a kiss, which he quickly caught with his hand, slapping it to his cheek.
I laughed at him, switching the light off. His shark night light brightened up the dark room. I watched him roll over to his side before closing the door.
When the latch on the door clicked, I finally let out a shaky sigh. I hastily wiped away new tears as I sniffed quietly.
"Don't mean to interrupt, but Edna's here."
I turned around to face Zayn who stood on the very top step of the stairwell. I slowly nodded, staring down at my feet.
He sighed, shoving his hands in his pockets. He made his way over to me, causing me to peer up at him.
"He holds grudges, he's a baby. He'll get over it."
I smiled slightly, looking away from him. He chuckled to himself, tilting his head at me.
"Come on, perk up. It won't last forever. You know how he is, seems to always be on his man period."
I shrugged slightly, nodding. I'll admit-it was weird how nice Zayn was all of a sudden. I wasn't used to it, and it honestly startled me.
But, I promised to give him another chance. I suppose that's why Harry was really mad at me...because I trust Zayn.
I followed him downstairs, meeting Edna in the kitchen. She stood with her back facing us, hands resting on the small of her back.
I watched her slender wrinkly fingers fiddling with the green ring on one of her fingers...like the red one I had destroyed four years ago.
"Edna?"
She turned around, wide eyes meeting mine. Her thin lips curled up into a smile as she motioned for me to sit down at the table.
I sat down as she did. Zayn stayed standing behind me. Edna looked back from me to him for a moment before sighing through her nose.
"So...you're both helping each other?" We nodded. "And that's why Harry's knickers are in a twist?" We nodded again.
"I'm giving him one more chance." I spoke quietly, nodding to behind me.
"Even after what he did? All the hell he put you through?" Edna's voice was full of shock and suspicion.
I heard Zayn wince at her words from behind me. My eyes narrowed as I stared back at her.
"I gave you a second chance after all the stuff you did. You put us through hell too, Edna...but everyone deserves a second chance. Because anyone can change."
She seemed taken aback at first. She blinked slowly before nodding.
"Yes. I suppose you're right. But you must be careful, Rose. Please."
"I can take care of myself. I've got it." I reassured her, earning a weary smile.
Zayn stood silent, making me slightly uneasy. I peered back at him to find him staring out the window. I followed his gaze to the sky.
I gasped, abruptly standing to my feet. The chair I was sitting on clattered to the floor. I took a slow step to the window, staring in horror.
The blue sky was covered by dark grey clouds. Dozens of jet black crows swarmed the sky, screaming at one another obnoxiously.
Edna gasped, joining Zayn and I. She held a hand up over her mouth, watching with wide eyes.
"He's back...so soon. I thought we'd have more time." She suddenly turned to me, her face sickly pale. "I was wrong. We have to get Harry. Now."

I'm sorry, guys! I totally forgot to update this weekend, I was so busy. I'm gonna update OPAT in about an hour or so as well.
Should we do a Q&A soon??
Anywaysss, what song on Harry's album are you most excited for? I don't know why, but I'm really looking forward to Sweet Creatures.
For some reason, it just appealed to me right away. However, I'm excited for every single one of his songs. I'm positive they're all going to be beautiful.
Xx
