Chapter 11

hey guys . Well I decided to get my butt working! So here's another chapter and in just a week, yuh guys didn't have to wait for a chapter in like 4 months! Yay for yuh guys haha xD Anyways if you'd like please comment and vote but nonetheless ENJOY!

My Dad stared at Jace ,slowly analyzing him with his eyes. Then he stared at me telling me with his eyes that he would talk with me later. I gulped slightly, not really scared but not looking forward for the speech he would obviously give me.

“ So you'll be staying for dinner then? ” Dad asked Jace.

“ Yes sir. ” said Jace politely.

“ Good, ” said Dad smiling as he sat down.

Okay that's a good sign. He smiled at Jace. Good, very good. Suddenly my stomach growled loudly. Everybody stopped what they were doing to stare at me. I blushed, putting some hair behind my ear.

“ Sorry, ” I said biting my lip “ I'm kind of hungry. ” They just laughed at me. Whatever.

“ Well let's not wait any longer, ” said Dad chuckling “ I'm afraid Mel's stomach will start eating itself. ”

“ Dad! ” I yelled embarrassed “ Let's just eat already. ”

And with that we began eating. Through out the whole meal Dad kept asking Jace questions. Like where he was from, what school he went to and stuff like that, but Jace didn't seem to mind. That gave him more brownie points in my book. The next thing I knew dinner was over and we were eating dessert, Tiramisu. My freaking favorite.

“ Well, I guess I should be heading home, ” said Jace getting up “ thanks for the dinner Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, it was delicious. ”

“ You're welcome honey. ” replied Mom.

He gave a kiss to my mom on the cheek, shook hands with my dad. What I really liked is that he held out his hand to Max despite the fact he knew he wasn't in Max's good books. Max grudgingly shook hands with him. I smiled really big.

“ I'll walk you out, ” I said as he turned to me.

“ I had a really good time, Mel ” said Jace to me stuffing his hands into his pant pockets.

“ Oh please, ” I said flipping my hand “ I'm so sorry the way Max acted. He's actually pretty nice when he stops being a jerk. ” He laughed.

“ Well bye?” He said after standing there for a couple of seconds. “ See you later. ”

“ See you later. ” I said smiling.

He turned as to leave, and then quickly kissed me on the cheek. He smirked at me and then finally left. I just stood there like an idiot with a hand pressed against my burning cheek. Finally after noticing I was getting strange looks from people passing by, I got inside. I ran up the stairs into my room and slammed the door shut.

I jumped onto my bed and grabbed a pillow. Pressing it tightly to my face, I screamed. Yeah it might seem cliche, but that never happened to me. Either I wasn't that into a guy or max would scare them off for me. Sighing dreamily, I laid on my back and started at the ceiling.

~Jace's P.O.V~

I smiled slightly as I remembered Mel's shocked face as I kissed her lightly on the cheek. I was shocked my self too, didn't think I had the guts to kiss her while her brother was sitting in the room next to us. I chuckled, I really didn't know whay it pissed off her brother for me and Mel to hang out. My phone began to ring, bringing me out of my thoughts. Thinking it was Mel I answered quickly.

“ Hello? ” I answered cheerfully.

“ Hey. ” Said the familiar voice on the other line.

“ What do you want? ” I hissed already pissed off.

Mkay so that was Chapter 11 not that exciting more of a filler chapter and not that long so I am sorry. And who do you think the person was that called Jace? And why does he hate that person so much?? Comment and vote if you feel like doing so. Btw thats a picture of Turmisu for those who have never tasted or heard of it before. It's so good, i recommend it. For my 15th birthday i had a cake whose frosting was purple, my favorite color, made. :D I was rather happy that day . Well I hope you enjoyed.
