Chapter 4

Hey guys :D Well here's chapter 4. Sorry I took so long in uploading can you forgive me? I hope so because then you will break my heart :'( well my goldyfish Bubba died I know huh sad. Whats worse is my friend said to suck it up and get over. I know shes joking around but I really loved Bubba he was my favorite :(. Anyways I hope you enjoy the chapter Oh and please read my comment at the end :)

Chapter 4

"What are you doing?" hissed Max glaring at me and Jace. I started to scoot away from Jace when I realized I don't have to be scared of my stupid brother.

"He was helping me out, Max, calm down." I said crossing my arms.

"Well I think he was being a little too helpful," said Max while turning his full glare to Jace. Jace didn't even flinch and stayed cool. He had obviously been in these situations before.

Had I mentioned my brother was obnoxiously over protective of me. He thinks he's all big and mighty just because he was born a couple of seconds earlier than me.

"Let's just go Max," I said angrily "before you cause another of your little scenes."

I smiled apologetically at Jace and said "Thanks for your help, I'm sorry for the way he acted, and it was nice meeting you but I have to go."

"It's okay," said Jace with a smile "hope to see you around." He winked and with that he left.

It had made me blush that he had winked at me, but it had the opposite effect on Max. He was angry. He freaking growled when he saw that Jace had winked at me! I mean I may love my brother and all but the guy had some serious problems. (In a whispering voice) THE GUY IS FREAKING CRAZY. Coo-coo I tell you. Quite sad the fact that he will never get a girl because of that. Insert sad face here... Haha, just kidding.

"Who was that guy Mel?" he yelled.

"Shut the hell up Max!" I screamed "and calm down."

"I am calm," said Max closing his eyes and trying to slow down his breathing. See what did I tell you? Seriously, my brother needs to have some anger management problems. "Just tell me who that guy was Melanie."

"It was just a guy," I said walking around trying to find our friends "that happened to help me when I was throwing up unlike my dearest brother who I had no 'effin idea where he was."

I glared at my brother daring him to say something.

"It's not my fault you got lost!" He said throwing his hands in the air "You're so short you could pass as a midget working here!"

I punched him in the arm.

"Call me short one more time" I said

"Stop trying to copy Hancock," said Max rubbing the spot where I had punched him "it's not like you can actually beat me up short-stuff"

"You asked for it," I said smiling evilly.

"What are you going to do?" he said warily backing slowly away from me.

"Nothing." I said smiling sweetly turning my head sideways.

Max quickly turned around and started to sprint away from me

"Why are you running away?" I yelled to Max as I began running to him "I thought you said I couldn’t beat you up since I'm such a shorty! COME BACK YOU LOOOSER!!"

Cackling like a maniac I chased after my brother while parents and kids gave me a WTF look.

"What?" I yelled as I passed by.

I mean haven't they seen a person run before? Seriously, people these days. Up ahead I saw my brother, Max.

I smiled.

"Oh Maxxy!" I singed. I saw Max whip his head around at the sound of my voice. His eyes got wide; he gave a small shriek before scampering away. I just laughed and ran even faster.

"Oh I'm going to get you dear brother," I muttered to myself "don't you think you're going to get away."
