7 years later

( A/N Max is now around 21, and Brendon is about 27)

Brendon's POV

I pulled in my driveway from work. It had been an exceptionally normal day. I went to the studio, sung a little, recorded, and now I was coming home.

It was exceptionally normal, until I noticed the person riding down the sidewalk. She was wearing a simple black dress, and a pair of beaten up converse sneakers, riding on a longboard with a black helmet on her head.

I parked the car, and walked out. "Are you lost?" I called out to the woman.

She stopped and pulled her helmet off, silver hair flashing in the sun. "I don't think so."

She rode forward and I almost had a heart attack. I burst into tears, bringing Max to my chest and holding her close. My baby was back. There were no words that could describe the feeling I was experiencing.

Max sobbed with me, both of us laughing and smiling through our tears. We stood there for hours, crying our hearts out, holding each other as close as possible.

Max wiped her tears and smiled at me. "I love you, Brendon."

"I love you too, Maxie." I held her hand as she walked inside. "You have to tell me everything."

"Shouldn't I wait until I see the rest of the guys?"

"We'll have a party."

Max's POV

After another couple of hours crying our eyes out, the guys and I were sitting around the table, talking to each other.

"After I left, I got my pay working as a street fighter. I needed cash to get all of the drugs I was addicted to, s I lived in an old shabby apartment, with barely enough to stay alive. I was so cracked up, I didn't realize that I needed help." I saw Gerard wipe a tear from his eye. "I was arrested for fighting. It was a short sentence, only two years, right after my 18th birthday. Then I hopped right back on drugs, and underage drinking. I had to undergo another two years in jail. They didn't realize I was doing it for drugs, at least not for a while into my withdrawal. I had to go to the hospital, then rehab. After that, I thought you would have all forgotten about me, It took me months to come back here, because I didn't think you would want me. I realized after, that I would need you guys to get over what happened." I took a sip out of my mug. "I missed you guys."

Gerard stepped out of the room for a couple of minutes, and after he didn't come back, I excused myself, going out of the house, finding Gerard sitting on the front steps of the house.

"Hey, Gee." I smiled at him.

"Hey, Max-oroni and cheese." He smiled at me with tear filled eyes.

"Want to go to the skate?"

"No breaking teeth this time."

"Okay."

Axel's POV

I was skating alone in the park, thinking about how my life had flat-lined. Once Max had left, nothing as fantastic as meeting her happened. I graduated, got a job, moved into my own apartment. I had no girlfriend, and no family to keep me happy.

I flipped on my skateboard, suddenly alarmed as I heard voices. I was the only one who came here during the night. Ever since Max left-

No, Axel. You're crazy. She wouldn't come back, not after being so upset here. Don't get your hopes up.

As I did another board flip, coming up to the top of the bowl, I saw a beautiful girl with the pretty green eyes, and the silver hair that made me feel like the moon was spun on her hair. I looked her in the eyes, and as she slowly walked forward, I watched her carefully, her doing the same to me.

We were inches away before I whispered, "Hi." Then I pressed my lips against hers, feeling electricity spark between us.

She pulled away and whispered, "Hi." before pressing her lips more gently against mine. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

My moonlit girl had come back to dance, and this time, her silver beams of light weren't going to escape from me again.
