Wednesday arrived quicker than I expected it to be. However, I woke to a gut feeling which wasn't a good one too. I scowled at my thoughts, if it was possible, and shook it off to get ready for my first day in a new environment.

I woke up around 6.00am and ran through the dance I choreographed yesterday and fixed it up a little for the dance class later at night. Since I had ended in 20 minutes, I went into the shower.

When I turn on the shower and allowed the warm water hit me, I recalled from yesterdays event. All it took were just one announcement and a click of an e-mail and viola! The Verner siblings are accepted into Toppers freaking High.

So much for less than 24-hours, huh?

But I can't lie that I'm feeling a wee bit nervous and excited all at because, come on, it's Toppers High School! Like I've said before, it's like I'm trying to enter America's Next Top Model when I don't have the figure, let alone the height. And even if I had the height and a killer body with the curves and stuff like that, I will never - let me repeat, NEVER - step into heels taller than 2 inches. Any further and I don't mind getting my legs run over by a-

Breathe, Haely, breathe.

OK, I lied. I'm freaking nervous and super excited since I've babbled this much nonsense.

After my wake-up shower, I dried myself and left my damp hair down and threw on my dark washed fitted jeans matched with a red tank top with my favourite red high-top Converse. Heading down to the kitchen, I grabbed my ready-made juice in the fridge and a granola bar off the cupboard. Checking my bag once last time to make sure the printed mails are in, I grabbed my car keys off the counter bowl and went to the garage.

Don't have to be so surprised. I do drive, just when it requires more than 20-minute walk or I'm in a hurry.

Speaking of driving, I realized that I still have to get Edwin. Wait, where's-

"Sorry, I'm late!" He rushed in from behind me which made me jumped a little.

"Don't ever scare me like that!" I punched him in the arm when I warned him.

"Ow, you hit hard, woman! So much for being a dancer, sis." He commented while rubbing his arm.

"Thank you! Now get in the car or we'll be surely late." I told him while entering the driver seat of the car.

~~~~~
"Oh. My. Gosh."
Both of us were jaw-dropped astonished at the sight of the school before us. The entrance to the car park already blown us away, and since I sucked at describing things, let's just say the view of the school building itself gave you the feel like it's a high class hotel or a gym club.
I parked the car and turned off the engine which brought Ed back to his senses. We stepped out of the car but I could feel gazes were on both of us. Ignoring them, both of us went into the school. Setting foot into school, students were either walking off to classes and lockers or meeting with their cliques. The 'lobby' (what looked like it to me) had a print on the floor with the school's logo in black and white.
As we headed towards the office, Edwin kept looking behind him and our surrounding. Definitely his dyslexic side of him taking over now. I noticed that his face fell into slight disappointment, which only meant that we were the only ones from Montrose High who were lucky enough to be accepted here.
"It's just the two of us." I sang-quoted Will Smith's "Just The Two of Us" to my brother who managed a lopsided smile for me.
The administrator who sat at the table in front of the door of the office snapped her head towards us and managed a smile. She gave me the motherly vibe as she slid of her glasses and spoke gently, "You two must the the new students from Montrose High, correct?"
