"And 5, 6, 7, 8!"

I was going through the "Mirrors" choreography with my intermediate-advance hip-hop class with music playing. It may looked like I was into the dance but I was allowing myself to distracted from the discussion the dance club had earlier.

"Haely, you're the last!" Bellette sang as everyone turned to look at me expectantly.

"Um... I'm not too sure what to show you all, to be honest," I said while shuffling under their gazes. Gees, they really have to stop pressurizing me with noise and stares!

"Let's be honest, you can't dance, can you?" Cordelia questioned with criticism dripping in her tone. See what I meant when I said she's like Aubrey Posen character from the movie "Pitch Perfect"?

"I can but...how do I put this? I can do almost any dance," I spilled my secret. Seriously, I can do most of the dance. Okay, more like picking up the choreography easily.

"Prove it then." The Winters twins demanded in unison as they folded their arms like a mirror. Whoa, I just witness twin powers.

"Just throw me all the songs," I sighed in defeat. These bunch are a hard crowd to please.

"I've got just the song," Bellette announced as the rest followed to the laptop with murmurs and whispers, leaving me standing almost in the middle of the dance floor.

Wait, how did I..? Oh, never mind.

"People, we don't have all day you know!" I exclaimed for the fun of it. Yes, I'm bored like that.

"Done!" Yuri sang out in a perfect note as the song player through the speakers. I couldn't recognize the mash-up until I heard the main line that clicked in my head. Oh crud...

"Oh c'mon! Really?! Just because I'm indecisive now, you throw me a freaking mash-up?" I questioned incredulously and slightly thrown off guard.

"You did say throw you all all the songs," Kaelie spoke and Preston continued, "So less talking, more dancing, woman!"

The song was now at Ellie Goulding's "Lights" mixed with Jennifer Lopez's "Dance Again". I threw in all that I could muster up from what I knew from scratch, mixing from hip-hop to salsa, breaking, lock & pop, contemporary, jazz, you name it. Just one thing I allowed to take over me: passion.

Getting lost in dance was the moment where I felt free and like an open book for everyone to see. Pouring out all the energy I had in me was keeping me high on adrenaline and letting out my true emotions neither words nor music could do.

Part of me was a bit self-conscious as I heard nothing from any of the members except the song still playing. I decided that they had seen enough and soon ended with a bow without finishing the song. Coming up from the bow, I saw the expression on their faces.

Yuri and Bellette were smiling like creeps whereas the rest had the mouths wide opened.

"Seriously, close your mouths. I thought I saw a bug just now." I threaten for fun with a smirk as I was taking deep breaths to slow my heart rate and stopped the song from playing any further.

They snapped out from their daze and Ryder spoke, "Who are you?"

"I'm Haely. Nice to meet you, and you are..?" I asked teasingly.

Oh, I forgot to mention another thing: I always have side-effects after dancing. For now it would be teasing, joking and sarcasm.

"No. I meant, seriously?! What you just did is so superhuman!" He commented like he just met Emma Watson.
