Theo's POV

I follow behind Shailene as she leads the way through the airport now. Our bodyguards, whom we had met up with shortly after the plane had landed and we had exited, now struts by our sides, their faces holding nothing but seriousness to them.

I enjoyed the accompany of our guards. Without them, we'd be swarmed with fans and I honestly didn't feel like dealing with a bunch of fangirling teenagers at this time in the morning.

Too early. I think jokingly.

We were being taken through a more, secluded and private part of the large airport than where all of the more common people were, so that we wouldn't be crowded. It was nice but also rather disturbing to not fit in with the average human population. I knew this especially bothered Shai for sure because she was the most down-to-earth person I knew. She loved being like everyone else and she loved treating everyone fairly, rich or poor.

She was an amazing highlight to my life within this time period. I was rather glad I had been put on tour with her.

I watch her in front of me, her movements simple and her posture in excellent state. Her lifestyles was so organic and healthy and she knew just how to take care of herself in the best manners. She made me feel like I could do so much better sometimes. I usually found myself eating junk-food while Shai is the one to go out and purchase fresh produce from a real market. She liked nothing processed and it was extraordinary.

I now quicken my pace a bit to fall in beside her, my personal bodyguard named C.J. coming to move in closer on me as well.

Shai's head lifts from her gaze towards the ground now. She had obviously been thinking about something. "Hey, Theo." She smiles at me and I instinctively smile back at her. It was too contagious when i am always around her.

"I just wanted to remind you of when we get outside. Paparazzi will probably swarm us, and I don't want you to get hurt or something and-" I try to begin now, my voice hushed as nothing but our heels squeaked upon the clean floors below. Shai cuts in though.

"Theo, we'll be fine. They're just fans." She points out with a look at me and I just raise my eyebrows. "Well you never know with some of them." I joke and this gets a laugh out of her which completely satisfies me for some reason.

We continue walking until finally we near the airport exit doors. A man stops us and checks our identifications before we then push through the doors and out into the night air.

Instant camera flashes start up as well as chatting and 'fangirling' screams. I immediately whip out some sunglasses.

Oh geez.

I thankfully watch next as Shai does the same though and place some feminine looking sunglass over her beautiful hazel-green eyes; yet she also begins to give a few waves to some of the people who stood nearby.

"Hey! Get back! No asking for autographs and no pictures!" One of Shai's bodyguards now suddenly snaps and this gets a hush upon the crowd.

"Hey, it's okay. They're fine." I hear Shai's gentle voice state to the official but he just ignores her.

He's only doing his job.

I instinctively next wrap an arm around Shai in a friendly gesture and begin walking next to her towards the curb where a large black SUV awaited us.

"Oh man, is this for us again?" Shai turns to mutter into my ear and instantly the cameras begin to flash again which causes for me to shield my eyes with an arm. "Yeah, just go with it I guess." Is all I reply back to her as a finely dressed man then steps out from the SUV, his suit and tie all nice and straight.
