"Two Tail Rarity"
No One's POV.
Vibrant green hair, brown Neko ears and tail, and black abyss like eyes. These details stood out to no one, being as though they were hidden under a large hoodie. It was gloomy, gray, and wet...extremely wet. Rain beat down on Anti's hood as he hurriedly walked down the drenched sidewalk. He was on his way to visit Jack at his new apartment in the city part of Athlone, Ireland. Jack had called Anti, in the middle of the bloody night, that he wanted to see Anti at least for next week. This made Anti slightly angered but, he knew it would fade away once Jack gave him the puppy eyes.
Just like Jack, Anti had a certain rarity to him. Instead of having one regular feline tail, they each had two. They were lucky nowadays to not get plucked off and taken into shadow trading, otherwise known as the black market. But, some of those people, the ones who run such a 'business', know who Anti is. They've tried before, countless times, although the first time they succeeded wasn't a very good one for them. All because they did it when Dark was around.
Anti could easily fend them off himself and didn't exactly need Dark's help. Then again, the people stopped after a night of seeing Dark slaughter their men so, Anti was a little grateful. Dark and he seemed to be in a friendly state with each other, compared to the time they first met. At first, they hated being in the other's company or let alone be in the same house. But, Jack and Mark forced them to stick together and it somehow worked out when they started finding things in common.
Soon, Anti was turning the corner of a street and stopped in front of a building. 'Esker Riada Apartments' a sign read. "Finally, didn't know it was this far into the city," Anti mumbled, walking through the metal gate at the front entrance. As he began to shiver at the coldness of the rain, Anti looked at the numbers on the mailboxes. "225 through 235, no. 236 through 246, no. 247 through 257, bingo," said Anti, quickly making his way inside the building. "Oh, hello dear. Anything you need help with?" A woman asked when she entered the main floor area. "Uh, no. I'm fine, I can handle a little luggage," Anti said in an irritated tone.
All Anti wanted was to see Jack and lay down for the rest of the gloomy day. So, as he climbed up about three sets of stairs, Anti made sure his features were hidden from sight. Anti had a suitcase in one hand and a duffle bag over his back, not being much a heavy haul.
Suddenly, his phone rang in his pocket and with a sigh, Anti set his bags down to dig through his pocket. When Anti answered the call, his nerves calmed as he heard Dark's voice, "Hey, how's it going in the country of rain?" Chuckling at Dark's comment, Anti replied with a smile. "Wonderful, I think I have one more set of stairs to go before I reach Jack's apartment. So, how is Mark holding up?" Anti asked, pulling his hood further over his head when a person walked by him. "Holding up? He's not even standing, the fight they had must have really broken him," Dark said, sounding as though he actually cared.
"It's gonna be alright, Dark. I'll talk to Jack, hope they get through this...well gotta go," Anti said and heard Dark reply with an 'Alright, bye,'. Bending down and picking his bags back up, Anti continued to ascend up the stairs to Jack's door. The demon knocked on the door and shifted from foot to foot as he waited.
Jack unlocked the door, slowly swinging it open to see Anti. "Anti!" Jack screamed, scaring the demon slightly, automatically hugging him. The lights were out in the apartment and when Jack closed the door, Anti saw the new green in Jack's hair glow in the dimness. "What the? When the fuck did you get that?" Anti asked, pointing at Jack's head. This made Jack smile and touch his head before simply answering, "Two days ago,"
Anti sighed a little, walking past Jack and glancing at the TV that was paused. "Really? Saw three? I thought you always needed a fucking plushy to watch horror movies," stated Anti with a small chuckle as he turned to see a somewhat annoyed face of Jack. "No, I just got through watching the other two movies by myself! Besides, I'm not a baby like you, who sleeps with a foxy plushie!" Jack defended and crossed his arms, glaring at Anti. "Shut up, it reminds me of Dark!" Anti growled back, unwanted words slipping from his mouth.
