"What? What is it?" She curiously questions the blonde who held a framed photo.

Pain washed over her as her blue eyes scanned the photo of what seemed to be two happy newlyweds with Riley and her family surrounding them.

Maya sharply exhales, "my mother got married," she quietly comments.

Currently...

Riley's thick brows rise in shock after a few seconds of putting it together, "Katy's your mother?" She questions in surprise.

She nods. Maya's blue eyes meet Riley's brown ones, "who is this man?" Maya asks.

It takes a while for Riley to answer as she is still processing the fresh information, "oh um, that's my uncle Shawn. Why wouldn't she inform us about having a daughter?" Riley answers her questions but finishes with a question herself.

Maya tosses the frame into the box, "because she's dead."

"To her at least. "Maya's dead to her!" were her words when kicking my pregnant self out as my luggage was thrown out after me," Maya explains, her throat aching more then ever as the tears began to well up... again, but she didn't let them go, she swore never to cry over the piece of shit that was her mother.

Riley frowns and furrows her brows, giving Maya a warm hug before Topanga enteres the room unannounced with some sandwiches, confused at the sight of both sad girls.

The brunette looks up to need eyes with her mother, "mom, we need to talk," she informs, slightly alarming the older woman.

Topanga cautiously nods and sits next to both girls, waiting for one of them to speak up.

"Maya is Katy's daughter," Riley forwardly announces.

Topanga's lips part in shock, "is this true?" She turns to Maya.

She nods and stands from the floor, "yes, but it's fine. I mean she wouldn't consider me her daughter anyway seeing as she... disowned me," maya responds and giggles.

The woman focuses on how she seemed to find it funny, though she didn't know that Maya deeply didn't find it funny.

"Fuck, she found her way back." Maya says, giggles following after.
