Chapter 1

5:10, the clock read. 20 minutes Samantha, 20 minutes.( picture of Samantha at the top.) once the clock struck 5:30 I locked up the store and got on my skateboard and rode home. I pushed open the door to my apartment and sighed.

Cassie's not back yet. Cassie is my best friend, she understands me. Though we both have very different taste in guys. There's only one guy Cassie will not shut up about. Shawn Mendes.

What's so great about him anyway? Sure he's nineteen and a singer songwriter with all his millions but I bet he's a dick in real life. What does Cassie see in him? I sighed and went to my room for a good nights sleep.

I woke up at 7:30 to get ready for work. I dropped out of college because I couldn't afford to pay. My parents don't give a dam about me. They kicked me out of the house a year ago and I was forced to fend for myself with my best friend Cassie. I unlocked the door to the store and put my bag in the employees room.

This is going to be a long day.

Just as I was about to lock up someone pushed the door open and grabbed the key from my hand.
" you gotta help me," the guy said breathing heavily.
" stores closed, idiot," I spat and yanked the key out of his hand.
" look. Can I just hide in here for a little bit until they leave?," he asked gesturing outside. I looked to where he was pointing and found a bunch of girls circling the place.
" no. Now get out," I said but he didn't move.
" please," he begged. I managed to push past him but he grabbed my hand.
" let. Me. Go," I said but he didn't.
" do you even know who I am?," he asked.
" no. Why should I?," I asked pulling my hand hand out of his.
" I'm kinda a big deal," he said. I scoffed.
" and I care why?," I asked.
" I'll give you $1000 if you get me out of here unnoticed," he said.
" where would I take you?," I asked.
" your place," he said like it was obvious.
" or... I could stay in here all night and you loose your job," he said and smirked.
" fine. Take the back door out and meet me in the alleyway," I said and walked out to a bunch of screaming girls.
