Oh my god. So many typos it's so cringe worthy. So yeah just wanted to apologize for that it's been a hell of a week and I'm really tired all the time. Life sucks. Let's just get that out of the way but yeah I apologize for that and the lack of updates for those of you who actually like this book and read it because you like it. So I'm going to try harder to update and make it less cringe worthy. Enjoy the next chapter!

I think it's great Shawn wants to get a job. But does it have to be at the music store I work at?

Why does he even want a job anyway? He has millions of dollars.

As if reading my thoughts Shawn replied.
"I feel guilty that you and Cassie are letting me stay here until my agent calls me. So I want to get a job to pay for some of the rent," He replied. I cracked a small smile before realizing something.

He has millions of dollars. Why work for rent money when he can pay right out of his pocket?

Again, as if reading my thoughts Shawn replied.
"I never had a normal life. Therefore I never had a job. I wanna see what it's like," he answered. Shawn isn't at all who I thought he was.

Maybe I was wrong about him. Maybe.

Just before I got lost in a train of thought the door opened to reveal Cassie with tear-stained cheeks. I furrowed my eyebrows together trying to figure out what could be wrong.

I looked over to my right to see Shawn doing the same thing before turning my attention back to Cassie. She cracked a forced smile and walked past Shawn and I into the kitchen.

I followed Cassie.
"What's wrong?," I questioned. She shook her head.
"I don't want to talk about it," She responded. I rolled my eyes.

Cassie always wants to talk. I lightly grabbed her hand.
"What's wrong?," I asked again. Her eyes started to swell up with tears.

It broke my heart seeing Cassie like this.
"Chase...He umm...He...Cheated on...Me," She said trying to catch her breath. I looked at Cassie.

I pulled Cassie into a hug as she began to sob on my shoulder. I didn't know what to do.

Chase seemed like such a nice guy. Why would he do this to Cassie?

Well nice guy or not...Chase is going to pay.
