Chapter 2

I walked, more like ran, with the guy to my apartment and found Cassie waiting up for me like she always does.
" you're late," she said. ( picture of Cassie at the top)
" I know I'm sorry. Some idiot wouldn't let me leave unless I brought him here," I said. Her head shot up and her eyes widened.
" oh my god! YOU BROUGHT HOME THE SHAWN MENDES!," she screamed. " Shawn" ran over to her and covered her mouth.
" could you be any louder?," he asked.
" sorry," she apologized and he removed his hand from her mouth.
" so one of you knows who I am and the other one doesn't give a damn?," he asked.
" pretty much," I said.
" pay up," I said and held my hand out. Shawn sighed and slipped the money in my hand.
" great... now get out," I said and pushed him towards the door.
" we had a deal," he said and got out of my grip.
" yeah... Samantha here has commitment issues," Cassie said and grabbed my arm.
" guest room is upstairs... you can spend the night," she said and I glared at her. Shawn nodded and went upstairs.
" are you kidding me!," I yelled at Cassie.
" you don't even know him!," I continued shouting not caring if he heard me.
" I do so!," she shout back.
" being a fan of somebody doesn't mean you actually know them, Cassie. For all we know he could be selling drugs," I said.
" I'm going to bed. We'll talk about this in the morning," Cassie said and went up the stairs to her room.

Today is my only day of and I'm stuck spending it with Shawn.
" it won't be that bad, Sam," Cassie said.
" I wish I were you," she said and slung her book bag over her shoulder.
" I have to get back to my dorm. Have fun!," she said and walked out of the door. I sighed. I hate life. I walked into the kitchen and made some cereal.
" so," I heard Shawn say. Oh great... he's up.
" what," I snapped.
" where are your parents?," he asked.
" don't know, don't care," I said and turned on the TV.
" look... I was just asking a question... you don't have to be a bitch about it," he said and sat beside me.
" well I'm sorry but this bitch just gave you shelter," I said and turned to face him.
" I can kick you out right now," I said.
" than why aren't you?," he asked and smirked. I rolled my eyes and focused on the TV. Why is the universe against me? I thought and fell asleep.
