Chapter 22

Third Person POV

Greg rolled over onto his stomach, and gripped his pillow over his ears tightly, but it was no use, he could still hear Mike's loud snores.

Greg groaned inwardly, and got up out of his bed, and after throwing on a jersey, he left his room, and went for a walk. Greg wore only his boxer shorts and a jersey, but the air was still humid, so he was comfortable.

Looking at his watch, Greg saw it was 1:30 in the morning. He didn't bother texting Mycroft, since he would either be busy planning upcoming camp events, or he'd be sleeping. The resort was obviously deserted, since the others would all be sleeping, as they didn't have to share a room with the notorious snorer Mike Stamford.

Crickets chirped and owls hooted away in the distance, and looking up at the open night sky, Greg saw thousands of stars twinkling above him. He smiled, and continued walking down to the beach. The full moon lit up the water and some of the sand with its bright light, and Greg sat under the light on the sand, tucked his knees up to his chin, and looked out over the water, listening to the waves crashing onto the shore.

"You know," came a voice from behind him, "you should be in your room asleep by now."

Greg smiled and turned around to see Mycroft standing behind him, still in his black dress trousers, expensive shoes, and his white shirt was crumpled and a few buttons were undone. Mycroft sat beside Greg, and put his arm over his boyfriends shoulder, and pulled him in closer to him.

"It's lovely, isn't it?" Mycroft said, gazing out across the water.

"It sure is," Greg agreed, turning to face Mycroft at the same time as Mycroft turned to face him. They smiled at each other, and leaned in, their lips meeting in a sweet kiss. They shifted their positions so that they were facing each other more comfortably. Greg's hands gently cupped Mycroft's unshaven face, and Mycroft's hands trailed over Greg's sides, down his lower back, and down to the under-sides of Greg's thighs, gently pulling him up so that he sat on Mycroft's lap, as they continued kissing.

Greg's hands moved into Mycroft's hair, which was no longer gelled back, so it fell over his face, but Greg moved it away as they continued kissing. They pulled away at the same time, but rested their heads against each other's foreheads. "I love you so much, Mycroft."

"And I love you, Greg always and forever."

To Mycroft and Greg, nothing could be more perfect. And, to Jim Moriarty and Sebastian Moran who were watching in the shadows, nothing could be more perfect either. Jim always loved a bit of destruction.
