LITERATURE CARR'S POV
I ran into the bathroom after Life, trying sort out what just happened. Okay let's get it straight... Criticism was using his powers against Life... and she freaked a little... okay a lot. So she ran crying into the bathroom. Yup, i'm caught up. I should probably try to cheer her up... I pulled my air-pen out of my pocket and started to draw a doodle in the air. Once it was finished, i pushed it towards Life. I heard her giggle quietly and walked in to find her still wiping her eyes. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked. She didn't cry often, but when she did, it was hard to stop her. She sniffled. "No. I mean, honestly? He just... insulted me like twenty times, no doubt he's still going on and on about my flaws." She looked down, and I walked over to her. "It was obviously never gonna happen between us. I knew he never liked me like that, but that shouldn't mean he should go around insulting me!" She rested her face in her hands. I walked up to her, and put my hand on her shoulder. "I know, it's not right. I'm sure Karma is using his powers on Jacar right now." I smiled at her. "I should go beat him up. He shouldn't have done that." Life laughed a little again, still wiping her eyes. "No don't beat him up. You'll just ruin his braces." She laughed again and stop drying her eyes. Her face was no longer red, so I told her, "We should probably go back now. It'll be akward though." She followed me back into the gym, we grabbed our stuff, and headed to lunch. When we sat down, everyone stared at Life. I took out my air-pen and wrote akward in the air. Criticism laughed. I glared at him from across the table. Karma just looked away most of the time, and our friend, Dance Gil, just stared at the table. Gil's power was that she could make things dance. We just ate the rest of our lunch in silence, except Life who was kinda sending off brain signals. She did that when she was stressed.
