Mystic's POV
Oh god, I thought, that was close. That poor boy... No. Stop. It's too late. Don't guilt yourself. They didn't see us anyway. But they can feel us... I continued flying into the night sky, floating like a wisp of black matter. We need to find the one the young girl called 'Death.' It did seem that she had similar powers as us... Maybe she can help us. With that thought, I disappeared out of the night.

Death's POV
I woke up surrounded by purple-black smoke. In a normal situation, I would've looked for a source or maybe even called for Life, but I had nothing to worry about. My powers had been developing everyday, and I could've teleported somewhere strange or even caused a fire in the middle of nowhere. It did seem I was in the middle of nowhere... everything around me seemed to be just a black void. I attempted to turn toward a wall in order to figure out where I was, but I couldn't move. As soon as I looked down, I found I was bound in chains. I began to struggle, yelling, "Get...me...OUT!" "Relax Child...Only you can get yourself out of those chains..." A voice cooed, echoing in the vast emptiness. "Who's there?!" I screeched, seething. I hated being constrained. Suddenly, the smoke collected into one spot, and created a young woman with sleek black curls, dark eyes, and a purple flowing dress that dissapated into smoke at the ends. "I am Mystic La Mode, pronounced 'Mad' and spelled 'Mode.'" She announced, spelling her name in the air with purple smoke. "Where are we? Why am I chained?!" I asked, bringing the lady forward with a telekinetic hand around her neck. "I- I came to seek h-h-help.. From a mis-mistress 'D-death..." She replied, choking. "You didn't answer my QUESTION," I boomed into the void, tightening my grasp. She coughed. "We- we're in your *cough* mind... mistress... *cough* You're chained... be-because... you have not yet.. set your m-mind free..." She sputtered. "I would greatly *cough* thank you for putting me down... s'il vous plaît..."
