Chapter 26

Thea's P.O.V

*skip forward several weeks*

This week is the week I get to go home for good. Those 5 weeks finally went by, very slowly, but they did. Thankfully. I have to go to all of my professors for them to tell me what to do and all of that. I'm packing everything right now. Bella is at class but I told her I wouldn't leave until after she got back. I got everything packed now I guess to go talk to my professors.

After like an hour of them explaining everything I was finally done. I could leave at any time. Bella only has an hour until she gets out of class. I'll just go back to the dorm and hang until she's done.

When you coming home!?

To: Mikey Bear
Soon. Gonna wait until Bella gets done with class.

From: Mikey Bear
Ugh. Fine. I love you

To: Mikey Bear
I love you Mr. Pouter

I clean up around the room a little to pass time.

"Hey." Bella calls out.
"Hey." I say taking headphones off my ears.
"You're really leaving." She said while looking at my stuff packed.
"I am." I say kinda sadly.
"I'm glad. You deserve it. But don't forget about me! When my Worm decides to arrive, I'm expecting a call."
"You'll get a call no worry." I smile.
"I also want updates every time you go to an appointment." She added.
"Sure thing."
I walk over to her and pull her into a hug. Which hugging is getting harder since my belly sticks so far out. Well I guess for almost being 32 weeks, it's suppose to be.

"I'll see you later." I say after letting go.
"You better." She said.

To: Mikey Bear
I'm on my way!

I grab my bags and head to my Jeep. I put the bags in the back before getting in to leave. I put the radio on and off I go. I was driving when everything went bright then black.

Mikey's P.O.V

Thea is on her way home. I'm happy she's going to be home for good. I didn't like her being away especially since she's been falling more often. Now my family will be with me.
It's been over an hour since Thea texted me she was coming. It's normally not a full hour to get here from her college.

To: My Queen
Where are you?

*no response after 10 minutes*

To: My Queen
Thea. Where are you it's been almost 2 hours.

*no response after 20 minutes*

She's not responding. Why isn't she responding. I go to text her again when I seen someone was calling me. I don't recognize the number.

"Hello?" I answer.
"Hello. Is this Michael Simmons?" Some man asked.
"This is Dr. Calvin from Mercy Dade Hospital. I was calling in regards of Thea Thomson. You were listed as an emergency call."
"What's happened? Is she okay?" I practically yell.
"I'm afraid not. She's been in an accident. If you could come down to the hospital I'll discuss it with you. Could you contact her parents?"
"Uh. Yeah. I'm on my way."
"Okay. Thank you. Bye." The doctor said and I ended the call.

What does he mean she was in an accident? No. She's fine. She has to be fine. He probably got her confused with someone else. It can't be her. I snap out of my thoughts and grab my keys and head to my car. I need to call her mom.

*ring*ring*ring*
"Hello?" Her mom answers.
"I uh- I'm going to the hospital. You need to meet me there. Thea was in an accident." I could barely talk.
"What do you mean she was in an accident?"
"I don't know. The doctor told me to come down so he could discuss it. Meet me there. Bye." I hung up before she said anything else. I have to get to the hospital. I run to my car and drive to the hospital. I probably am driving recklessly but right now I don't care. I have to get there. I have to make sure she's okay. She has to be okay. Please be okay.
I got to the parking allot and ran inside.
