Robb went to another battle. So far he had won every single one of them. It still didn't mean he would come back this time.
Arabella was praying outside in the forest with Alec and two other men standing nearby. Bolton men, that Robb gave her.
"Please give him strength. Bring him back." she said with her eyes closed and hands together.
"May I pray too?" she heard Catelyn's voice and opened her eyes. She looked up and saw her standing next to her.
"Of course" she nodded. Catelyn kneeled next to the Princess and both of them closed their eyes.
"You calmed my son last night. I don't know what you did, but it helped him." Catelyn spoke still with her eyes closed.
Arabella opened hers and glanced at her. "I didn't do anything inappropriate, m'lady." she said with her voice calm as an ocean.
"I know, and I appreciate it." Catelyn half smiled and opened her eyes.
The girl couldn't believe Catelyn was so nice to her. Just not long ago she wanted her gone. "I want you on my son's side. Not like his wife, but as a friend. He trusts you. I think I should start too." she stood up and handed Arabella her hand as an offer to agree.
Arabella's stomach ached. She didn't want to be Robb's friend inside. But she knew she had to take Catelyn's offer. Then she nodded and smiled.
"Your husband had the same opinion about me too at first. But then his last words were 'Take care of Robb'."Arabella told Catelyn her last meeting with the noble lord. "And I shall do what it takes to keep his words."
Catelyn smiled. She thought about Arabella a bit better than at first. Arabella looked fully on their side, which she was. "Last night I wanted Robb to forget you. I'm sorry." she told the Princess who stood there with a frown.
"It's alright. I won't do anything you or him don't want me to do. He will marry a Frey girl and win this war. I'll get my throne and marry someone as well." saying such things burned Arabella tongue but she still said them.
"That sounds good" Catelyn nodded. Arabella blinked for a few times and left the woman alone.
She ran into her tent. Alec followed her. "Are you okay?" he asked. She sat down on her bed and started to cry. "Bella..." he frowned kneeling to her. "Did Lady Stark say something?"
"No" she managed to say still crying. "She was nice."
"Then what in seven hells is bothering you?" he asked wiping her cheek with his thumb. Arabella looked at him with pain in her eyes.
"I love him but will never have him." she then let her head down and cried again. Alec sighed and hugged his dearest friend.
She cried in his chest, realizing how hard it will be to see Robb marrying someone else, giving her children. Kissing someone other, laughing with her.
And she will marry a man who will be just like father was. Drunk all the time, always having another women in bed and not loving her.
"Tell him the truth." Alec pulled away and saw her shake her head.
"No! It will make things worse than they already are." she shouted pacing around. "I need to forget him."
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" he asked hating seeing her like that.
"I have to be strong" she told mostly to herself. "Where is Nora and Jessabelle?"
"I will invite them." he stood up from his kneeling position and began to walk away.
"Alec!" she called after him and he turned his head back. "Love Jessabelle in every way possible. You never know when you'll lose her..."
He stood there for a second and nodded before leaving.
Arabella felt someone's presence behind her. Then a sharp cold thing was held to her throat. "Let's wait for your wolf boy to come back." a sharp voice whispered making her widen her eyes in panic.
