I'm just going to say this right now, this chapter is short but I loved writing it and I loved the ending too much to end it on anything else okay sorry I'll leave now bye.
Also this story is 100% made of MEAT and EGGS so if ur vegan u cant read it sorry 🙄
~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_I paced the room for about an hour after I read that note, until finally I did what I always do when I'm confused about something. I wrote a list.
Things that make sense:
Dreams
Dreams of cute guys
Nightmares
Nightmares w/ vampires
Things that don't make sense:
Things that seem like a dream but aren't
A cute boy with my exact house that I somehow ended up in
Actual vampires
Other dimensions
"Pulling" things into other dimensions
Notes appearing out of no where
Believing all the previous things are true.
After I checked over my list multiple times, I came to the conclusion that I had somehow written the note in my sleep. After all, the things that didn't make sense outweighed things that made sense, and the things that made sense contradicted everything that didn't. I put my notebook down next to me, satisfied with my deduction skills. Turning off my bedside light, I rolled onto my side, about to sleep, when the paper that I wrote on crinkled. I shot up in my bed, but at the same time I told myself it was just my ceiling fan blowing it a little. I reached next to me for my light, and when I turned it on, I noticed more writing on my notebook, the red, boyish handwriting greatly contrasting my black cursive. The note now read:
Things that make sense:
Dreams
Dreams of cute guys why thank you ;)
Nightmares :(
Nightmares w/ vampires
Things that don't make sense:
Things that seem like a dream but aren't Wasn't a dream.
A cute boy with my exact house that I somehow ended up in <-- thank you again ;)
Actual vampires Real, unfortunately
Other dimensions I'm offended. After all that explaining I did, too.
"Pulling" things into other dimensions That's sort of my life...
Notes appearing out of no where It wasn't from no where, it was from my dimension.
Believing all the previous things are true. Oh come on.
The notebook fell out of my hands. I let myself fall back onto my pillow, staring at the ceiling, completely unbelieving.
I'm going crazy, I thought, I'm going crazy and none of this is real. Mom and dad will probably come home to me in a corner talking about the voices.
No matter how much I thought about it, there was no practical explanation. There was no "maybes" or "what if's," because the evidence was in red ink, glaring at me with undeniable proof of the existence of a different dimension. I swallowed, then started writing at the bottom of the page.
Draven? I wrote, then set the notebook down, staring at it. Nothing happened for a few seconds, when suddenly, there was more red on the page.
That's my new name that you, yourself, came up with, don't wear it out. Someone, apparently Draven, wrote back in the same red ink. I swallowed again and wrote back.
So that was real? And you're real? The reply came faster this time.
I don't see how I could be writing this is I wasn't real. I read and re-read this sentence, hammering it farther and farther into my brain as I did so. That was all real. The vampires and the "pulling" and Draven.
Oh.
My.
Good Gravy.
I was just in another dimension.
-------------------------------------------------------
It took me a half an hour of pacing, listing, and staring at nothing to finally convince myself that maybe another dimension could be possible, and maybe I went there, and met vampires, and met a boy whom I named Draven. I looked at my dog, who was still on my bed, and watched as he stared at my nightstand. I narrowed my eyes at him.
Can my dog see you? I wrote quickly.
Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that animals have this weird six sense. You're dog especially likes to remind me that I'm lying in a bed with you, technically not WITH you, but Jake doesn't know that.
I just sort of remembered that your bed is right where mine is.
I can move mine if you like.
Nah, I guess we are a dimension a part, its fine.
Cool
I stared at my paper for a while, finally convincing myself totally and completely that what happened tonight was real. I went to write again on my notebook, then thought better of it. I started looking around the room, searching for any sign of where he might be. An arrow appeared on the paper after a while of my eyes darting everywhere, and I stared straight in front of where the arrow was pointing. I tried to picture how tall Draven was, and I imagined I was looking him in the eye. I mouthed 'goodnight,' shut off my light, and laid down. I thought for a moment, then I spread my arm out a little further, resting my hand palm up on the bed. I imagined that his hand was resting on mine as I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Well hi!
So that was short but I don't care. Yell at me. The ending could not have ended on anything else. If I ended it on anything else I would've been disappointed in myself because its so short. But I didn't. So I'm not. So whatever.
I wanted to remind you guys of how much I love you so here is a heart:
<3
You thought it would be big and extravagant, but no.
Signing off for,
No Reason At All ;)
