~Justin's POV~
These idiots are never going to freaking catch me.
~Reagan's POV (wait that was seriously it for Justin?)(Yes shush I thought it would be funny)~
It's been an hour. That means an hour closer to Cally, and an hour closer to seeing if our plan works or not.
I am hoping beyond hope that it works, because not only will it be the end of hope for Cally's escape, but who knows what would happen to me. Self-preservation has started to kick in, and it escalates at seconds tick away. Fight or flight is leaning way towards flight, but I hold out, even as I watch everyone's eyes light up and their fangs stain red.
But I will push through.
I'll push through for my best friend, and I'll push through partially to be a huge self-motivator.
I could see it then: I would be sitting, stressing over a math test, but I would think to myself yeah math is hard, but you tricked a bunch of vampires into thinking you were a vampire and saved your best friend, so this is probably nothing.
I've been milling around, making friends and rejecting drinks, answering a 'yes, Cally,' to the question that always turned up, which was 'did you sign up for anyone.'
Some vampires, after my response, gave the unnerving reply that 'oh, she's good.'
Oh good, at least my friend tastes good. That's good to know. Great.
I saw a boy, who looked a little older than me, going around, waving at people, acting like he owned the place. Someone from behind me called to him.
"Yo, Anthony, over here!" The boy nodded his head and walked over to his friend, not even sparing me a glance as his shoulder bumped mine.
Well excuse me.
Justin came to mind suddenly, and I hoped that he could out-fly those big vampire guard people.
Cally better be pretty freaking grateful when we get her out. I walk towards The House, spotting some empty chairs, and on the way there I snatch someone's wrist, checking their watch. Nine forty-three. I grumbled and plopped onto the chair, rolling my neck around and breathing out deeply. I hoped that the five people in front of me would just hurry up and drink their fill so that I could get on with this.
I immediately regretted thinking that.
~Cally's POV~
I had devised a sinister plan.
When Ivory came in to unchain my wrists in the morning so I could sleep, I would clunk her on the head and knock her out.
Of course, I would do it as painlessly as possible, but I needed her unconscious so she wouldn't get blamed for the next step.
I would drag Ivory to the left corner, where no light from the small bulb could reach. Then, I would break off one of the wooden legs to the small table to the left a few feet, and create a stake with that. When Anthony comes in, I'll chain him to the wall, cut off his palm so my blood isn't there anymore, then cut mine, too...just a lot more gently.
Then, to release left-over tension I will stab him repeatedly in the head, watch him heal, then end it, stake him through the heart, and leave, threatening anyone who gets in my way, because I will not. Ever. Become. A vampire.
Ever.
I would just have to make it through tonight, just have to go through about six more people before I set this plan into action.
