Damian had no idea how he was going to tell his father or the other Titans about him quitting.
Raven was easy to tell, the other Titans, maybe too, but Batman...
     That was a different story.
What should he say? There is no way he could lie to freakin Batman and get away with it, especially being his son.
He was thinking about it when his door opened. When he looked up, Raven was standing there, holding a plate with a sandwich and a glass of water.
"It's almost 12:00," she informed him. "You haven't had anything to eat all day. Thought I'd bring you something."
Damian looked back down to the floor.
"Thanks," he said.
She came and sat down next to him, setting the plate on the bed. She put her hand on his shoulder.
"Damian, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"You can't lie to me, Damian."
He knew she was right. Being half-demon and an empath, she could tell these things.
"I just—" Damian started. He sighed. "I just don't know what I'm supposed to tell my father. For all he knows, I'm still in the mountains with the League."
Raven didn't have any ideas, either. And for a while they just sat in silence.
"Well," Raven said, ending the silence. "I suppose I should go make me something to eat now."
Damian nodded, and grabbed his lunch as Raven walked out.
After a few hours of thinking, Damian decided to go walking. Raven ended up coming with him, and they were both able to get out without Jaime or Garfield knowing about Damian.
They talked and had a good time, joked around and stayed out there for a while.
After being out there for about an hour, they lied out on the edge of the island for a while.
It was starting to get dark, and they were staring at the stars.
"Look," Raven said. She was pointing to a constellation. "Orion's Belt."
Damian noticed it and smiled. As mentioned before, Damian felt comfortable around her.
Maybe it was because she was like him. Maybe it was because—
"I think we should head back," Raven said, interrupting Damian's thoughts.
     They both sat up.
"You can," he told her. "I'm going to stay the night out here."
She smiled. "You always have liked the outdoors," she told him.
For a few seconds, it was quiet. Then, they slowly leaned towards each other.
And they kissed. (Yes, for all of you guys reading this, I made it happen.)
After a while they broke apart, neither of them speaking. Then, still without speaking, Raven got up and walked back to the tower.
And Damian spent the night on the beach.

Hey, sorry it's short. I just wanted to get another chapter up before my phone was cut off, so yeah. I should be able to get my phone back on by this Wednesday though, so it won't be too long a wait.
