Time surely passed by fast. But I wasn't having fun like the saying 'Time flies when you're having fun'. It was already Friday and I was so stressed with all the projects the teacher handed us. My Speech teacher asked each of us to memorize a two page long story which was going to take a while for me to memorize since I wasn't a big fan of Speech. And then I have my Math class and we had a big major exam by Monday and hell I didn't even learn a thing. Nana suggested we have a study group in her place, which we all agreed ( me, Bryan, and Jessica). Although I might not be able to learn a thing since I'm probably going to talk their all the time. Anyway, I was kind of relieved when Mia didn't pull her revenge on me this week. I guess...I guess she forgot about it, but who am I kidding? I knew I struck a chord in her heart hard when I told her about her mom leaving her. That's what Chad also experienced. His mom left him when he was young. I dind't really know what the reason was but he just told me she left. I guess I'm not the only one with a broken family.
I entered Mia's mansion and found out that we had an extra guest: Keith.
"Finally, you came!" Nana said as she ushered me towards her living room which was now turned into a mini classroom with a whiteboard.
"Hey," I said as I smiled at Jessica and Bryan but only nodded to Keith. Awkwardness spread the room as Keith only looked at me and then looked away as if I wasn't his crush. He still hasn't recovered yet huh? I sighed.
"Well, shall we get started?" Nana said.
As it turns out some of our Math lessons weren't really comlex. I just really needed to listen attentively but there still was this topic that I couldn't get. We studied for like 2 hours unti Bryan and Jessica decided to leave since they get the lesson already. I was left with Keith and Nana who were busy solving the problems.
"Guys do you mind if I leave you two alone for a while I'll go make some drinks first," Nana said.
"What about your maid?" I asked.
"Um, well it's okay I can take care of it," she said as she got up from her chair and skipped towards her enormous kitchen.
Then I was left with Keith who was staring at nothing in particular. He seemed to be done with his homework while I haven't answered half of mine. I scratched my head and grumbled.
"Need some help," the voice made me jump and suddenly I turned to Keith who was looking at me with hard eyes.
"Um yeah I guess so," I said as he got up his chair and stood beside my table.
"This one is east enough weren't you listening to the teacher?" he asked his tone still icy.
"Um not really, I have a lot of things in my mind," I said.
"Like what?" he asked.
"Nothing," I said.
He took my pen from my fingers and solved the problem for me. It only took him like 2 minutes to solve it and finally I couldn't take it anymore.
"I'm sorry," I began to say.
"Hm?"
"Look I'm sorry if what I said to you last week hurt you Keith. I just had a lot of things on my mind. I'm not sure of my feelings anymore and I promise I won't get my mad if you punch me if I ever say hurtful things to you again," I said as I looked down.
Then what he did surprised me. Suddenly he hugged me tightly and put his head in my shoulder.
"Idiot, I'm never going to hurt you. Never. No matter how hurtful your words will be towards me I'm never going to leave you. I just need time to recover from the things you just said but never will I leave you. I love you, Brit. More than you can ever imagine. I'm not going to force you into loving me but I'll wait. Always," then after that sweet speech I hugged him back and started to cry.
