 I took a deep breath knowing that I was going far away for a couple of months. It wasn't fair though but it was ordered by my mom. I was on the airplane and was peering on the window and saw the sad faces of my friends and mom. Nana was crying hard, Bryan was there looking strong but also pained, Chad was there hurt that I left him and sad that I was going away. And of course mom was there she waved goodbye at me and then they all disappeared out of my view as the plane was already up above.

9 hours later I arrived at the same place I had been last year. Bruggendale. A city that was not so popular but was full of grassland. I decided to go to the apartment where I had rented a year ago and see if they had any space for me.

"Britney you're back! How come you've never kept in touch with me?" a girl said as I got inside the apartment. I blinked in surprise as I saw my friend whom I felt guilty for not keeping in touch.

"Oh hi Sasha, yeah I'm sorry about that things have been...kind of busy lately," I said.

Sasha's face fell."Again? Well lucky for you, your trip here to the apartment isn't going to be a waste since I'm offering you to be my room mate! Yay! Come on I'll help you with your bags," Sasha said as she took one of my huge bags and started dragging it. I was amazed that she still hasn't changed still the same old preppy, cute and nice girl from before. She had tan skin, and pure blue eyes and well she had an angelic face that always seemed to have a smile plastered on it. Her hair was blonde like mine it had streaks of green, pink and yellow/gold. Sasha was one of the people here in Bruggendale whom I trusted to tell my secret. She was aware of my break up and my parents divorce and understanded the thought that I needed a break from all the drama. That was my choice, but this time was different. Mom promised to call me whenever she felt like I was ready to go home, but I wonder how long it will take. We reached Sasha's room and I instantly dropped my bags and plopped down on the bed that used to be mine a year ago.

"I just have to make a phone call to alert the owner of the apartment that you're here and as soon as I'm finished with that I'll make us some fried oreos while we catch up on each other's life okay?" Sasha said as she dialled a number on her phone and started talking to somebody. I nodded in satisfaction and suddenly realized how much I missed the sweet honey dipped fried oreos Sasha used to cook for the both of us. My mouth was watering as I waited for her to go off the damn phone. Ten minutes later Sasha and the owner of the apartment came to an agreement that it was indeed okay with me to stay here as Sasha's room mate of course while paying half the rent. Then as soon as that was over we headed to the small kitchen and I waited like an eager puppy for Sasha's delicious oreos.

"Dig in!" Sasha said as she put down the big plate on the small table that was filled with oreos and honey dip. She took a sit across me and took one oreo. While I shoved one big oreo onto my mouth and savoured the taste as it traveled down my throat.

"Yum!" I said.

"Thanks, you know I haven't been able to make these since you left," Sasha said. I stopped for a moment and looked at her, feeling somehow touched by her words.

"Really? That's kind of sweet!" I said as I took another huge bite of one oreo.

"Thank, I missed you so much, Britney!" Sasha said now it was her turn to look like a puppy a more cuter one apparently. Okay so I felt a bit guilty that I hadn't even thought once about her since I was away.

"Yeah me too, so tell me how's life going?" I asked her. Then she began telling me the guys she has been dating while I was away. New stuff that was happening at school and some other random stuff like the CR now in school was cleaner compared to last year. She told me about finally acing her math test, which I was happy for her, but she also told me sad things like her pet cat Allie which was at her parent's house died just a month ago and her precious heels finally got broken after she tripped in embarassment over them. I casually laughed at her cute pouting face, until she asked me one question that I prayed that I would never answer to her in a million years.

"So how about you? How's life back in Halter? Did you meet any guys that were better than Chad?" she asked as her blue eyes sparkling. I frowned mentally but deep inside that question seemed like a slap by reality. I let out a deep sigh and told her the terrible things I had gone through since day one at home. First, I told her about my mom getting engaged to my ex's dad, second, I told her all the things Keith and I went through and the McDonalds incident and also Keith and Jessica's unforgettable stunt. I explained clearly to Sasha, the reason why Keith did that. Lastly, I told her about the kidnap situation and how I finally ended up here. For a minute, Sasha did nothing but stared at me cautiously, as if she's afraid I might burst into tears or something. Then she extended her arm across the table and patted me in the shoulder.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't know that-"

"Nah it's okay I felt good knowing you know my whole situation," I said as I took another oreo.

"I'm really sorry about your dad and...Keith. Keith seems like a sweet guy," she stated.

"He is, and I owe him a lot for taking the bullet," I said as I gulped down a glass of water which Sasha quickly grabbed for me.

"Yeah. So let me get this straight, you and Chad are back together right?"

I nodded but realized something."Well sort of, I mean from my point of view we are back together it's just that my mom just doesn't approve of us being together,"

"Becuase of the reason that you're mom still believes that Chad is still helping his dad, correct?"

I hesitated, but then nodded.

"You have a right to be sad Britney, but I think your mom just doesn't want to see you hurt," she said.

"Maybe you're right," I said.

"Can't Chad visit you?" she asked.

I shook my head, sadly my mom was keeping an extra close eye around him if ever he tries to leave Halter. I know it was cruel but there was no use in stopping mom. Chad didn't know about this but if he tried to go here then he surely would.

"Well look who's back and stunning!" I heard Jake, a friend of mine declared, as he saw me walking flawlessly in black heels, up the cemented stairs that led the way to ManTow High. A public school. I  smiled knowingly at him and walked towards him. He was leaning on a tree that was sorrounded by green grass.

"Hey," I said as I approached him. I leaned next to him.

"Glad you're back, Britney. Now we could start having some real fun!" Jake rejoiced. Unlike Sasha, Jake here didn't know my situation or my reputation back at Halter, he simply knew me as the random girl who just loves having fun.

'"Yeah me too," I said.

"So what have you been upto this past few months?" Jake asked as he brushed of his dirty blonde hair away from the top of his hazel eyes. He was serioulsy attractive yet it was confusing why no one dared to date him. Probably every girl thought that they weren't good enough for him?

"Oh nothing, just spent time with my parents and friends back in Halter, nothing big really," I lied smoothly knowing that all of what I said was the complete opposite. I sighed in relief, mentally, as he swallowed down the lie and hadn't even inspected that I was lying.

"Oh well that's good to hear. And where is Sasha?" he asked as he peered around looking for the perky girl.

"Oh I went ahead she was just so adorable when she was sleeping that I couldn't bare to wake her up," I said.

"I'd kill to have a picture of her sleeping," Jake said, knowing he had a teensy tiny crush on Sasha.

"Ten bucks, buddy," I teased. His eyes widen in surprise.

My day felt normally good. I had lunch at McDonalds and dinner at this vegetarian restaurant together with Sasha and Jake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~One Month Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since day two of me staying here at Brugendale. I had been receiving calls from Nana, Bryan and Chad and was always asking on how I was doing. Except when Chad called it was like we had limited time becuase our connection would be suddenly cut off. It seemed suspicious...but I knew it had to be my mom behind it. It was raining hard tonight and me and Sasha were seated on the couch together with thick comforters wrapped around us making us feel warm. Even of the loudness of the rain, there was no doubt that someone was knocking on our door. I offered to open the door and as I opened the door I couldn't believe who it was. I covered my mouth to hide my gaping mouth as I stared at the person in front of me.
