COURTNEY'S POV

I had just pulled into the car park at work, I was half an hour late and anxious.
This had been my third time this week being late and I don't think I'll get through this softly.
I grabbed my bag and ran to the elevator, I pressed the button rapidly.
As the elevator stopped, the second the doors open I ran out bumping into someone on the way.

"Someone's in a rush?" Shayne laughed, smugly.

"Shut up I'm late!" I called still running.

"Funny cause, no one else is here?" He called back to me.
My run slowly turned to a walk until I had stopped in the middle of the hall.

"What?" I asked turning to him.

"Yeah, I guess somebody didn't get the memo." He smiled, rubbing the back of his neck.
I looked at him confused.

"Anthony's sick and was in charge of the sketches today so we really aren't needed for anotherrr.... three hours." Shayne shrugged.

"Are you telling me that I just ran two stop signs and a red light for nothing?" I sighed.

"Unless you were aiming for a court appearance.. yes." He smiled childishly.

I scoffed walking up and punching him in the arm, he laughed as he slowly ran his head up to where I hit him.

"I mean.. ow." He smirked.

"What do we do for the next few hours then.?" I asked throwing my hands up sluggishly.

Shayne through for a moment before suggesting stupid ideas like pie fights, water fights and twister.

"What not something else like make some vines or even work." I shrugged.

"Well we could finish Mari's editing from yesterday?" He suggested.

I shrugged and agreed, even though it sounded boring I was still enthused.

We went upstairs to the editing room and looked for whatever hasn't been finished, which were several items so I figured why not start with the longest.

I began editing as Shayne sat beside me and began giving me ideas or suggestions on what to do to make it funnier.

"Add the wasted caption from GTA as he falls." Shayne suggested as he kept laughing, after a few minutes I had managed along with slowing that part of the video down, I replayed it to him and he just kept laughing.

It was nice to hear him happy, he was one of my best friends and seeing him in this good of a mood was miraculous.

His phone buzzed which drew our attention, he grabbed his phone from his back pocket and began reading.
I would glance at him from the computer occasionally.

"The guys are on there way." He smiled cheerfully.

I nodded, saving and exiting from the editing software and we went and sat down in the meeting room.

We began talking about everything and nothing all at once,

"So what?" He mocked.

"So, it was a stupid idea!" I laughed.

"How, I thought it was cool!" He protested and we began laughing,

"Everyone is gonna hate it." I laughed as Ian walked in.

"Gonna hate what?" Ian asked.
I nonchalantly pointed to a piece of paper on the wall.
Ian looked confused as he walked up to it.

"Nice butt?" Ian asked.
I laughed loudly as he turned around and Shayne had a large grin on his face as Ian smirked.

"You're lucky were friends." Ian threatened before walking off.

"You're an idiot." I smiled, glancing at him.
He looked at me with such joy.
