Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't updated I've been so busy with school and all that bull.
But this is the last chapter I know I'm such as ass for keeping you on hold on the LAST DAMN PART.•Shayne•
It had been four months since I got out, in Courtney's eyes it was four months closer to our future.
In mine it was four months closer to me leaving her.I knew I was running out of time, slowly but still running low.
I was sitting across from her in my house, looking into her eyes..
She turned, facing me. A soft and small smile formed on her lips as she titled her head slightly.
It was a picture perfect moment, one I didn't want to forget. Before she had time to noticed I pulled out my phone and took a picture of her.
It wasn't romantic and she looked slightly different in the picture.
But it was something."What was that for?" She giggled to herself.
"I just.. Thought you looked astounding. I wanted to remember it." I smiled, her cheeks tinted red as I wrapped an arm over her shoulders and pulled her close to me.
It was now or never, I thought battling with my mind."Hey, how about we go somewhere nice tonight." I said, thinking of our future.
"It's 5 in the evening, where can we go?" She smiled, her eyes jumping from her hands back to me.
"I don't know, what's open til this late?" I questioned.
Her eyes burst open as excitement ran through her, notably."What, were?"
"The doc, the Carnaval at the doc!" She said happily.
I laughed, shaking my head as my eyes met with hers, she seemed eager."The doc it is." I shrugged.
"Oh, oh! Thank you!" She stated, grabbing my cheeks and quickly pulling me in for a brief kiss before running off to our room.
I just sat there laughing as I pulled myself up from the couch.
She wanted to go now, so we can go now."Grab your coat, Shayne! I don't want to miss sunset!" She exclaimed ecstatically.
I walked over to the window, watching as the sun began to set.
"Well.. If we run?" I joked before making my way to the coat rack.
I pulled on my coat, which I had gotten everything 'prepared' for."Okay, okay!" She called as she quickly squirmed into some clothes.
She ran out of the room, a big smile on her face as she showed off her outfit.
I stared at her, marvelling in.. Her.
No matter what she wore she was like a diamond sitting on gold in my eyes, priceless.
Twirling, she tried to emphasise how much she loved the blue floral dress she was in.
I smiled, reaching my hand out for hers as we made our way to the doc.Imma tell you guys this, I'm actually sad to be finishing this.
I just kinda wanna disappear again and not have to (T.T)We were walking down the long, wooden floors of the doc, her hand intertwined with mine as I got to hold her close.
She was over ecstatic, pointing to the Ferris wheel and the sideshows.
She was so happy, so in love with this place.
I, was in love with her however.
I was watching as the sun had almost set, the way it sparkled and danced on the water, and in her eyes."Win me a bear?" She called happily.
I smiled, still staring at her,"You want me to win you a bear? I'll win you the biggest bear I can." I smiled.
She looked at me, noting I was serious."And if I can't I'll steal the bear" I added as we stopped at the first side show.
"Throw the darts and hit as many balloons as you can!" The man called as I placed a five dollar bill down on the table.
With the five darts I was handed I hit 6 balloons,I gloated about the other four but the last dart managed to pop two at once so was happily boasting about that as he handed me a small stuffed bear."Try your luck?" The man offered as I grabbed Courtney's hand, handing her the bear.
Perfect time to make a cheesy joke, I imagine."No thanks, I'm lucky enough." I turned, kissing Courtney on the cheek.
We began to walk to the end of the doc, past the Ferris wheel where I stopped her.
The sky was filled with an inky blue or violet as I went to take both her hands, placing the bear down on the floor.I stared into her eyes as they sparkled, dots of white.
"Courtney." I stated, gripping her hands and holding them close to my chest.
"No matter how I say this its going to end up sounding stupid but.
I love you, I've never loved anyone the way I love you.
You're patient and kind, you waited for me when I was in jail.." She stopped me."You only went to jail because I was taken to the police station" she said kindly.
I laughed, shaking my head."Well, kind of.. But beside the point, I want you to know how much I love you.
I want you to know that no matter where I am I'll always be by your side, I'll always be thinking of you..
And.. Well, there's only one way I can do that, isn't there?" I smiled, letting her hands go.
I tucked my hands into my pockets, not sure which one but as my hand gently grazed it, I fell to one knee.
Her eyes widened as I pulled out a violet box and held it in my hands, pulling up the top I revealed the spotless diamond ring.
She gasped, throwing her hands up and covering her mouth."Courtney, will you marry me?"
She nodded slowly, tears glistening as they rolled down her cheeks.
I got up, holding tears back as I wrapped my arms around her.
I hugged her so tightly, I was now sure I'd have her..
I let her go, sniffing as a few tears escaped my eyes.I held her hand as I took the ring out and slid it on her finger.
She kissed me, a smile still on her lips as she did.
I'd never felt so happy in my life. She pulled away, stroking my cheek.
She sniffed, "Shayne, you're crying.?" She asked in an off tone.
I shook my head from her grip as I wrapped my arms around her frame and twirled her.I don't think I'd ever be this happy again..
