The Restricted Library

As everyone crept down the halls, Louise walked next to you and whispered
"So, are you excited?"

"Why would I be? We're going somewhere we're not supposed to and we could get in trouble. BIG TIME TROUBLE." You said.

"Not about that." She said.
You made a confused face.
"Then what about?" You asked.
"About Dan being here with us!" She replied.

You felt your face get hot.
"Uh.....ya, I g-gess so." You mumbled.

"Phil said I took a lot of persuasion to bring him here. Right when he said you might be going he said okay." Louise nudged your arm.

Your face got redder and you turned away from her without responding.
That can't be true. Why would he want to go because of me? You thought.

Just then Joe spoke up, "GUYS I HEAR SOMEONE COMING!"
But before anyone could hide someone came around the corner and stopped into heir tracks when they came face to face with the crowd.

You clearly could see who it was.
"Greg?" You questioned.

"Uh...h-hey (y/n). What are you all doing out here at night, should you be in your dorms?" He asked.

"I could ask the same for you. Why are you out here at night.....by yourself?"
You pressured.

"I-i....well..i...." We all waited for an answer.

"Look. How about we make a deal?
You don't tell anyone I was here and I don't tell anyone your here." He says.

Everyone exchanged looks.
Then Joe finally said "okay, deal."
Greg nodded and continued to walk the opposite direction you all were going in.

As he walked passed you, you both exchanged awkward glances. Only his was more of a nervous glance, and your way some of an evil eye 'I'm on to you' glare.

The group continued walking until you cane up to a part of the place where there were many staircases leading to different directions.

"Follow me." Said Joe.

He walked up onto a staircase and stopped at the end while leaving enough room for the rest of the group to get onto it.

"Okay everyone keep your balance." He warned.
"What?" You questioned.
Then the staircase started moving.

Everyone freaked out a bit as it moved. It stopped at a fancy door.
Joe motioned for everyone to follow him off the staircase.

When everyone got up to the door Joe did something to the door then the lock opened.
You didn't bother questioning what he did because you probably weren't supposed to know anyway, but some of the others were a little intrigued by it too.

He opened the door slowly then peeked his head in.
He walked in and one by one everyone else followed, you being last in.

"Close the door" whispered Joe.
You nodded and closed it carefully.
Joe said some spell you didn't know and the whole room lit up.

Everyone gasped in awe at the big room of books and creepy potions and artifacts around them.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's explore!" Said Louise.
"Wait!" Joe said.

Everyone turned their heads away from the beautiful scenery to listen to Joe.
"Nobody take anything. Okay?" He warned.

Everyone said "okay" and split up to explore.
