Remembering

You heard a faint ringing noise in your ears.

Am i alive? You thought.

All you saw was white and all you heard was the ringing noise.
You started to hear nurses yelling frantically "WE'RE LOOSING HER! WE'RE LOOSING HER!!"

Am I dieing? You questioned.

You started to make various realizations.

When I forced myself to get up I wasn't supposed to be alive.
I should have been dead then.
I should be dead now.

You saw your life flash before your eyes.

Your family taking you in.
You having to sleep in the storage closet all your life.

Then....the happiest time of your life.
A chance to leave all of that.
Going to Hogwarts was the only way to escape that place and still have somewhere to live.

You didn't know you were going to meet friends.
You didn't know that you were going to go on adventures.
You thought your life would be more or less the same.
But you were wrong, and you were happy you were wrong.

"HER HEART RATE IS GETTING SLOWER!!" A nurse shouted.

You remembered meeting Louise for the first time.
You remembered how you met Zoe and things almost instantly clicked between the three of you.

Then....you remembered seeing Dan for the first time.....
When you opened the door of their booth in the train.
Chris's, PJ's, Phil's, and Dan's heads turned to look at the stranger that had opened the door to their booth.
And right when you saw Dan's big brown eyes, it was love at first sight.

You felt your heart beat faster as you thought about Dan.
Those times he would stare at you and you would avoid eye contact on purpose.
And in detention that one day when you and him were in a closet together because Tyler wanted you two to talk again.
That was the day when the two of you told each other how you felt about each other.

That was the first kiss you had with Dan, even though you haven't really kissed since then. It was still a magical moment.

You remembered all of the great times you've had with your friends.
Your family.
You loved them.
You didn't want to leave them.
Not yet.

Memories flashed before your eyes over and over.
The one that stuck out to you the most was the first time your eyes met Dan's.

Then you felt it.
Your heart.
It was beating faster.

"SHES STABLING!!" you heard.

The ringing in your ears stopped, the white light was fading away.
Things were becoming easier to hear.

"SHES GOOD!! SHES OKAY!!"
Was the last thing you heard before you drifted to sleep.

The sounds of talking woke you.
Your eyes fluttered open to see Dan.
He was sitting on your bed talking to Tyler, Troye, and Phil.

"Look,shes waking up." Said Phil.
Dan's head snapped to your direction.
His pupils widened in his eyes when he saw you.
"Are you feeling okay?" He asked.

You thought for a moment.
You couldn't feel any pain anymore and you weren't about to die.
"Ya....I'm alright." You said softly.

He took your hand and hand it gently I'm his.
"I'm going to be fine Dan, don't worry." You said.
He nodded.
Tyler and Troye looked at each other, then back at the two of you.
"I think we'll give you two some alone time for now." Said Tyler.
They got up and exited the medical room quietly.
