That night the group walked everyone back to their common rooms.
Phil got dropped off at the Hufflepuff common room and waved bye to everyone. Then Tyler got dropped off at the Ravenclaw common room.
Then It was the Slyrherins turn to be dropped off.

You and Dan stopped in front of the common room door and waved bye to all of your Gryffindor friends.

When they walked off you opened the door quietly and tiptoed in.

You walked up to the girls dorm room door, Dan walked up to the boys dorm room door.

He said "goodnight."
You turned a little pink so you didn't turn your head to look at him.
"Night." You replied.

You turned the handle and opened the door a little.
"Hey (y/n)?" Dan called out.
You poked your head back out of the door, "ya?"

"Your pretty cool, you know that?" He said.
Your face turned from pink to red.
"T-thanks Dan." You said.

He did the little solute thing that you only ever really see him do to you, then he disappeared into the boys dorm.
You went into the girls dorm and closed the door quietly behind you.

You tiptoed to your bed and lied down.
You starred at the roof and found yourself drifting to sleep.

The next morning you got ready and went to Herbology.
You sat next to Greg again, he seemed to be trying to act casual but was failing horribly.
You kept a close eye on him.

The while class was extremely awkward.

In Astronomy you had the urge to try and talk to that Richie dude.
So you sat down next to him, he usually sat alone so he looked a little surprised.

"What a surprise." He said sarcastically.
You rolled your eyes.
"Why did you decide to come sit next to me? You know there are other open seats." He complained.

"I need you to tell me why you think Greg is so bad." You replied.
He smirked, "why, did your little friend turn suddenly suspicious." He taunted.

You groaned.
"Just tell me please, and I'll leave you alone." You said.
His smirk turned to a serious face.
"Okay.... I was never friends with him, but I know people who were.
They told me whenever they hung out with him he would talk about....weird things.
Like things you wouldn't talk about casually like he did."
"Like what?" You asked.

"Just listen." He said bluntly.
You roll your eyes.

He continued, "he would never bring it up normally either. It would just be out of nowhere and he would always look around suspiciously while he talked about it."
"He never talks about weird things with me." You say.

"That's just the thing, he it all normal and not weird at first. But after he gets to know you better, he gets weird....and not in a good way." He said.

You furrow your eyebrows.
He sighs.
"There have been rumors that he has been practicing...." He stops mid sentence, looks around the room, then leans in and whispers.
"Dark magic."

Your eyes widen.
That cant be true. You thought.
Its just a rumor, right?

He sees the disbelief in your face and gives up on trying to get you to believe him.
"Okay, fine. Don't believe me. But if you really want to hear the exact truth strait from someone who's experienced it, then go talk to the girl I told you about.
Billie." He concluded.

You sit in thought for a while, then said, "okay.....thanks." He nodes
You get up and sit in a different seat on the other side of the room.

The class went by slowly, all you could think of was what Richie said.
Dark magic? Really? If it is true I don't know if I should take any chances....
You thought.
You thought of maybe going to see Billie.
But you couldn't to alone.
You can't just go into the Ravenclaw common room, you aren't a Ravenclaw.

In Potions you sat with Phil again. Joe sat behind you two this time instead of next to Calvin.
You decided maybe it was best to tell Calvin about Greg.

"Hey Cal?"
He turned around, "ya?"
"Umm....there's something I need to tell you about Greg...." You said.
"OK...."
"So...last night, in the halls. He was roaming them all by himself.
And he was acting extremely suspicious, he wouldn't tell us what he was doing either. And not long ago before that, a guy I know named Richie told me he's bad news." You said.

"Richie? The goth kid?" He asked.
You didn't know Richie was goth.
But when you thought about it you remembered the clothes he wore around the Slytherin common room when he didn't have to be in his uniform.
You realized he is goth, but it didn't really matter.
"Ya....." You answered.

"Don't believe him, he's full of shit. If anyone is not to be trusted its him." Said Calvin.

Then he made a face as if he realized something, then he asked "what were you doing in the halls after curfew?"

Your eyes widened, you could ever Phil who was listening to the conversation fidgeting in his seat.
You glanced over to him.
He was shaking his head, silently telling you not to tell Cal the real reason why you all were out that night.

"Uh.....w-we were sneaking out.....to um....." There was awkward silence as you were trying to think of a good excuse. Calvin was giving you an 'I'm waiting' look.

You were getting flustered, just then Phil suddenly blurted "PJ AND (Y/N) ARE DATING!" 

You shot your head to Phil who nervously shrugged.
You turned back to Calvin who looked as shocked and confused as ever.

"We all snuck out with them so they could meet up in secret, then we passed Greg in the hall." Said Phil.

Cal turned back to you and said "Pj? I don't know who that is, but congratulations I guess. I thought you liked that Dan dude.
I guess you got over him?"

You turned pale when Cal said you liked Dan. You turned back to Phil who looked shocked.

You looked down at your desk and answered Calvin.
"Y-ya....I got over him. And now I'm dating PJ."

"Cool. But next time you sneak out, invite me." He said as he turned back around to face the front of the room.

You looked back at Phil who was smiling like crazy.
"What?" You asked.
"YOU LIKE DAN?!" He exclaimed.
Your face turned red.
"I-i...uh..."
"Don't worry I won't tell anyone! I promise." He said.
"But Dan is your best friend." You replied.
"Yes, he is. But a secret is a secret."
You smiled, "thanks Phil."
"No problem!"

You decided you still wanted to go and talk to Billie about Greg.
You kinda knew deep down that Calvin wasn't going to believe you, he seemed to be really close to Greg.

You had to try and go with one of your Ravenclaw friends. You only have two, Louise and Tyler.

You had already agreed to meet up with them outside so you can talk to them about what you want to do.

You waited outside near a tree where you told them to meet you.
