But no joke it's stuck in my head stoppp

I held back my smile as Peoples and I left Gaskarth's room, we had spent the past three days going in and out of that room trying to get as much information as we could out of him but it was useless as he wouldn't tell us anything, not even his as Peoples called it, partner. We couldn't even get a name out of him, but that was going to change soon. As soon as Peoples would give me the word I'd get every little piece of evidence from the piece of shit with ease.

"I know what you're going to say Fuentes and before you do, it was still worth a shot to see if he'd willingly tell us something."

"You should have known that'd never happen," I said as we walked to his office.

"It was still something we had to try, look first thing tomorrow morning you're going to go in there and do whatever you have to, to get him to give us information. By any means necessary."

"Why tomorrow?" I questioned, "I can just go back in there now, extract information from it and just catch a late flight home tonight."

"Because I want to see if that disturbing threat you left him with will get him scared enough to say anything so that we don't have to have you go in and get the information forcefully." He said and I held back from rolling my eyes, of course, while Peoples may have wanted me on his team because I'm one of the best interrogators in the agency, he didn't want me to actually use any of my techniques unless they were absolutely necessary. He was very much against my sadistic ideals.

I nodded, "Alright, I guess I can wait that long."

And I did, I waited all night for the fucker to crack but it never did. So as soon as dawn hit Peoples reluctantly let me go get my things and I went to his interrogation room once more.

As I walked in with my little bag I heard it start to laugh lowly.

"You know, he's been keeping an eye on you don't you?" It asked looking up from its hands. "My partner as Agent Peoples called him has been keeping a close eye on you, he knows everything about you Agent Fuentes. As do I, tell me, how is your pregnant boyfriend doing? His name's Kellin isn't it? I heard you bought him as a slave a few years ago but he somehow broke that hard shell of yours? What would you do if you found out he was taken?" Alexander asked me, cocking its head to the side as it looked at me, its dark eyes probed over me as if to find a crack in my exterior and while I was internally freaking out I wasn't about to let it know that. It knew nothing about my kitten, it was just trying to mess with me. Kellin is at home with Ariel and Tony, nothing is going to happen to him or the baby.

"I bet the minute my boyfriend learned I was missing he-" Alexander was cut off as Peoples started to speak through the little intercom.

"Fuentes, you're needed now." He said urgently and I nodded to him through the viewing glass and left the piece of shit in the room laughing his head off.

"Yes sir?" I asked setting the bag down.

"You have a call from an Agent Preciado with the FBI." He said and handed me the phone.

"Fuentes." I said trying to ignore the pounding in my ears. Something wasn't right, Jaime wouldn't just call me out of the blue like this. He only called when something bad was happening.

"Vic, it's Jaime." He said, "I got a call from Tony just a few minutes ago telling me that I needed to reach you and tell you to come home as soon as possible. He said the kitten is gone, I don't really know what that means but he said you'd understand."
