Chapter 35

"I'm going to the park!!" I yelled to my mom as I went out the door. I decided to get out of the house after a long talk with my bestie.

The warm sun felt good against my skin. It wasn't to hot to stay indoors, it felt perfect. The park is only like 5 blocks from my house so I just walked there.

I got there in no time flat. I went strait to the swings because there my favorite thing to play on when I'm at the park. I hop on and my butt is literally on fire. I grab on the sides and pull myself up.

"Dang that's hot!" I yell to myself.

"Not as hot as you." I look up to see a group of boys surrounding me. The boy who said that to me had light brown Justin Bieber { Old Style } hair. He is really skinny and is my height.

"Um excuse me!" I said.

"You heard me." The Justin Bieber boy said while uncrossing his arms. His friend next to him with dirty blonde hair, skinny, same height, came closer.

"Um can you just leave me alone?!" I said while getting up. I tried to walk past Justin Bieber's friend but he stepped in my way, not letting me through.

"Where you think your going?!" Said the friend.

"Why dontch you hang wit us?" Said another one of his friends. the rest of the gang just nodded.

"No thanks, I didn't come here to hang with you losers." I pushed the blonde hair dude so hard he fell over. I took off running at full speed. I looked over my shoulder and saw them all chasing me. They weren't far behind. They all ran fast. I kicked up speed and ran faster then I ever have.

I finally made it out of the park and ran towards the city. My sides started to burn and ache and my lungs felt like they were on fire. The boys were still hot on my trail. 

I finally made it to the nearest gas station and ran in. I ran to the very back and ducked down behind the aisle.

I heard the door ring as the boys ran in. They were all breathing hard and taking deep breaths. They stopped to catch their breaths for a few seconds then started looking around trying to find me.

I slowly started inching my way through the aisles, trying to get closer to the door.  I heard one of his friends get closer to me by the minute. I held my breath and gave it a shot.

I bolted toward the door at full speed knocking straight into the boy, knocking us both over. I landed on top of him, desperately trying to get up. I finally found my balance and escaped through the door, running straight home.

I wrapped my hand around the door knob and turned, using my shoulder to help it open faster. I collapsed on the ground, panting.  When I finally caught my breath I walked over to the window and peeked through the curtain. I saw the group of boys running down the block, getting farther and farther away.

I let the curtain go and walked to my room. I closed the door and plopped down on my bed.

One thing for sure is that I'm not going to the park anytime soon.
