I couldn't stop smiling about what Simon was going to show me. He said it was a surprise and it was making me excited. He grabbed my hand in the car and smiled at me. I smiled back. I could feel my hand getting sweaty and I quickly wiped it off. I stared back out the window when I suddenly remembered what happened last time Simon told me he had a surprise for me. Well it wasn't Simon it was Jessica pretending to be him. My smile faded and I started to get worried. What if the same thing happens? I looked over at Simon and he still had a happy smile on his face. He must of noticed something was wrong because he asked me if I was ok. I said yes and showed him my biggest smile. He laughed and I put my head on his shoulder. I felt so safe with him.
Simon's mom pulled up to the mall parking lot and stopped the car. We all got out and Simon and I walked together into the mall. It was really busy and the mall was way bigger than any mall I have seen. We started walking around and we stopped to look at some clothes. I found a pink sweatshirt that was super cute. I went to go check it out when Jessica and her friends started walking to the same check out line. What is she doing all the way over here? I started to panic and I ran out of line and towards Simon who was looking at a gray shirt.
"Hey hey hey Jessica and her friends are here!!" I said while grabbing his arm.
"Where?" He asked while looking in different directions.
" Right there." I pointed to the check out line where Jessica and her friends were laughing at a little kid who tripped and fell. They seem to not have noticed us.
"Ok I have a plan." Simon said while turning toward me.
" A plan, what is it?' I asked.
"Just meet me at the fountain in the middle of the mall." He said.
"Ok." I said.He let go of my arm and walked over to Jessica. She stopped talking and started screaming on the top of her lungs.
"OMG Simon Britton???!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!" she said while running and giving him a big hug. He laughed a little and hugged her back. They started talking but I couldn't hear them. I wonder what he was going to do. They started walking away and Simon turned around and mouthed go to the fountain. I nodded and started walking to the fountain in the middle of the mall. I had to stay a couple feet away from Jessica and her friends and Simon so that Jessica didn't see me. That would be really bad.
It took awile to get out of the store because Jessica kept on wanted to buy a whole bunch of clothes. When we finally got out they walked over to the fountain and Simon grabbed Jessica's hands. She smiled at him and leaned in to kiss him, when someone grabbed her shoulder and pulled her away from him. Jessica turned to face whoever just did that to her.
"What do you think your doing you back stabbing bitch!!!!!!!" Said a girl I didn't know.
"Kenzie????? What are YOU doing I was just about to kiss Simon Britton, thee Simon Briton!!! And don't call me a bitch again you stupid whore. Jessica said while turning back around to face Simon. Kenzie's face turned dark red and she grabbed Jessica and turned her around again.
"What???" Jessica yelled. Just then Kenzie punched Jessica right in the face. She fell down and Kenzie got on top of her and kept on punching her till one of Jessica's friends pulled her off. Kenzie kicked Jessica right in the ribs and walked away. Simon helped her up and looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders and looked at Jessica.To be honest I didn't feel bad at all. She deserved it.
I decided to walk over to Simon. When I got there he smiled at me and wrapped his arm around me. Jessica looked at us and her face got real dark in a second. She was just about to hit me when Kenzie came back and smashed a dirt pudding cup all over her face. She screamed and tried to wipe it all of but it just smeared all over her clothes. She gathered her things and ran to the nearest bathroom.
"She totally deserved all of that!!" Kenzie said then she walked away. Jessica's friends gathered there things and went towards the bathroom Jessica went into. Simon looked at me and burst out laughing. I smiled and did the same thing.
I knew Kenzie was here and that she would get mad at her for *kissing her man*. So you ready for your surprise? " Simon asked me.
"Yea" I said.
"Ok the surprise is that I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend???" Simon asked.
"Yess I would love to be your girlfriend!!!!" I said. Simon then grabbed me and kissed me. Just as we kissed, Jessica walked out of the bathroom with her friends and saw everything. She threw her things down and screamed on the top of her lungs. She started crying but I didn't care. I had Simon all to myself!! I'm glad he asked me out!!!!
