Simon's POV
''Alright see ya guys later.'' I said to my friends as I started to walk home. I just got done hanging out with them and it was so much fun. It was a little cold out even though it was April.
There were clouds in the sky that looked gray and misty. It looked like it was going to rain. I was hoping that it wouldn't because I didn't really feel like walking in the rain.
I kicked some small little pebbles that were on the side of the road when I felt something land on my head. It was a little bit cold and wet.
Rain.
I looked up to see it start to sprinkle, then pour. I saw the little raindrops, crystal clear , each one perfect in their own little way. The water felt good as it started to soak through my clothes. I kept staring up at the sky, the stars were now sparkling like diamonds. I closed my eyes and began to relax.
Bzzzzzzzz Bzzzzzzzz Bzzzzzzzzzz
I reached into my pocket and slid out my phone and turned it on. It was a text from Morgan. Man did I miss her. I think about her everyday and I just can't stop thinking about her. I click on the message and start reading it.
My face gets hit with even more raindrops as I glide through the air, running as fast as I can, trying to get home. I hope Morgan's alright! I have never seen her this upset about anything. And all because of this girl Jessica.
When I'm halfway home from where I live I'm already soaking wet. The rain doesn't feel good anymore. It just feels like sadness pouring over me. And it never wants to end.
