My eyes shot open and it was still dark. Joshua was still fast asleep at my side. He looked so peaceful. I loved it. My throat started to burn and I groaned, I couldn't understand why. I checked my phone and it was 5:41. I looked to my side and Joshua was awake and staring at me.

"Emma, are you okay?" I nodded but I feel like I should of waited before answering. Because the urge to vomit came. I got up ran to their bathroom and collapsed. A second later Joshua picked me up and pulled my dead weight body over to the toilet bowl. He held back my hair and gently rubbed my back.

"Emma just bring it all up you will feel better after" I felt like crying. My chest hurt from the dry reaching. I had eaten but nothing would come up. Just constant coughing and pain. I laid my head against Joshua's shoulder and sobbed.

"My chest hurts, and my stomach is aching I can't do it" His grip around my shoulders tightened as he hugged me and rubbed my back.

"Emma it's okay, we will stay here until you can throw up, if we need to we may need to force it" I shook my head quickly and cried. He attempted to try calm me down, I worked myself up to the point where I had a huge coughing fit.

"Josh is she okay?!" Laura barged through the door and ran to our side. Putting her hand on my shoulder and looking at me worried.

"Em needed to throw up but it isn't coming up, she only will dry reach she can't bring it up"

"Emma honey you may need to force it out, it should make you feel better. It's hard to do it yourself so either Josh or myself will do it okay" I shook my head and pushed myself closer to Joshua. Laura went into the cupboard beside me and pulled out a pair of gloves and handed them to Joshua. He laid me against his chest and put the gloves on then Laura helped me sit up to put my head over the toilet bowl. Laura tried talking to me to calm me down but I was terrified. No one had to help me throw up before, I knew it would make me feel better, I just wasn't too fond of the idea of a guy that I had only just met and was extremely attractive, sticking his finger down my throat to help me throw up. Joshua rubbed my back and hushed me because I began to cry again. I felt horrible, I had only just met these people and they were up at 5:40 in the morning caring for me.

"Emma, we are gonna try force it up now okay" Joshua said calmly. Laura rubbed my back and started hushing me again because I began crying again. Joshua pushed his finger down my throat and I started gagging. It wouldn't come up, my chest was aching. He waited a second before attempting again which sent me into a coughing fit. Laura grabbed me some water but before I could start to drink I could feel it come up my throat. Joshua held my hair back while I brought it all up.

"You are going to feel so much better sweetheart. I will tell your dad today when he comes and picks you up, it could be the nerves because you have your first round of chemo today, you are going to be fine" I looked up at Laura and she smiled weakly. A few seconds later, Owen walks into the bathroom half asleep.

"What happened? Are you okay?" I nodded and Laura walked over to her husband.

"She was unwell but she couldn't bring anything up herself so Josh helped force it up. I am going to go get a Gatorade from the fridge, Josh do you want to get Emma to bed she needs her rest" Laura and Owen left the bathroom and Joshua threw the gloves into the bin next to the toilet and pulled me into a hug.

"You are going to be okay, do you feel any better?" Honestly. I did, I know bringing up whatever is making you sick makes you feel better but when a hot guy is helping you do that its super scary. I nodded and he tightened the hug he was giving me.

"Joshua?"

"Yeah" He said quietly, moving the hair that was covering my face to get a better look at my face.
