"Oh Josh you're home" a sweet voice rang as Joshua lead me inside his home. It was double storey, red bricked and had a very vintage feel to it. The garden out the front was full of roses of every colour. With a small red leaf tree in the middle. It was beautiful.

"Mum wants to know if your friend eats meat? She wants to make a beef cassero- oh hi I'm Ashley" the girl reached her arms out and gave me a hug. She looked a lot like Joshua but she was really pretty.

"I'm Emma, it's nice to meet you" she smiled brightly just like her brother seems to.

"My mum wanted to know if you have a certain diet, like are you vegetarian or vegan? Or do you eat meat?"

"Oh no I'm not vegetarian" Ashley nodded and headed back into the kitchen.

"Em, come up stairs, I have a TV in room if you want to watch a movie. Mum is out at the shops at the moment so you guys can meet when she gets home" Joshua stood behind me and showed me to his room. He helped me pull the annoying oxygen tank up the stairs.

"I'm sorry that I'm a high maintenance person to have around, you always have to help me and I feel bad"

"Hey, you can't help it, I don't mind helping you, you're my friend and I will always be there if you need me" Joshua pulled me in for a hug. His cologne always smelt so good.

"What movie would you like to watch?"

"Oh do you have Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind? I love that movie so much, I studied it in school in year 12 and I fell in love with it"

"Mum bought that a few months back at a garage sale, I'm assuming it's good?" I nodded my head eagerly. Joshua laughed and left his room to find the DVD.

His room was a lot different than what I had expected. It was very neat and everything had a place. The walls weren't fully covered with posters of heavy metal bands like I thought. As I walked in there was a walk in wardrobe to my right. The door was closed but was covered in Polaroids, I assumed the photos must be of all his friends back in his hometown. His bed was in the left corner, it was a double and had a grey patterned doona with two matching pillows. There were small photos of drum kits stuck on the wall alongside his window above his bed head. He had a small desk in the other corner with shelves of books on the wall. A medium sized TV had been mounted onto the wall and a small black glass cabinet sitting underneath, holding DVD's, games and Joshua's PS4.

"Found it, Ashley watched it today, she says she loved all the mind games it gives you" His voice made me jump, which it always seems to do, he had more pillows in his arms and laid them against the wall on his bed. He grabbed his two pillows from his bed and laid them with the others.

"Thought I may as well give us a comfortable place to sit" Joshua let me sit closer to the edge of the bed so I could sit better because of the oxygen tank. I watched him turn on the PS4 and start the movie.

"Jim Carrey is in this? So I guess it is a comedy?" I shrugged my shoulders and he gave me a confused look.

"It has it's funny moments but its not really a comedy" He looked back at the case and placed it on the TV stand. Joshua stood up and crawled up onto the bed next to me. A few seconds later I felt him pull me close. I look up at him and he gave me a warm smile.

"Are you comfortable? With the hugging or do you not want to?" Joshua asked the question quite slowly, it seemed he was nervous. I lay my head against his shoulder to let him know I was okay with the affection. I hugged him back then a small knock came from his door and a small woman popped into the room.

"Oh Hi! You must be the girl Josh hasn't stopped talking about! Emma right?" I could hear Joshua groan at my left side. I nodded and smiled.

"I'm Laura, Josh's mum, I know he is an adult now but you are the first girl I have allowed up in his room without supervision after an incident with an ex girlfri-"
