Summer, 2009

Zayn had a problem carrying his luggage. It was too heavy for him, but he didn't bother to grab a trolley. He was just too eager to meet the only person he had been thinking about lately, even though he was struggling with his own steps.

"Need a help, there?" A deep voice spoke in his ear, making him jump. The british accent was so thick. Zayn quickly turned around only to meet a pair of warm chocolate eyes, he squealed and instantly dropped the luggage he was carrying.

"Liam!" He hugged the taller lad by standing on his tip toe, loving the fact that their bodies could finally collide again. He missed Liam's scent so much, so he inhaled it deeply. Liam smelled like musk, sandalwood, and home. Zayn never wanted to let go of the guy, and so Liam understood him well that he carried Zayn up.

"I missed you so much, you know that." Zayn looked up, his eyes were glistened by tears.

Liam chuckled, pressing their foreheads together and bumped his nose to Zayn's. "I know that, baby. And I missed you in a way too much." He then pressed a sweet, loving kiss to his boyfriend. Zayn kissed back slowly, sighed on relief. He before thought he would never be able to see Liam in the meantime, that they had not seen each other in such a long time after they graduated, but here they are united by fate again.

The car drive was filled by Zayn's smooth and angelic voice singing to whatever songs played on the radio. Liam couldn't help but smiling fondly at him, knowing that his boyfriend had a huge passion on music and art. He was kinda always having an urge to record Zayn's voice. So whenever he was missing the lad beside him, he'd play the recording a lot.

"Oh!" Zayn squealed in his seat when the familiar instrument coming, he turned the volume up excitedly. "I love this so much, Li." He said in full of adoration.

"Wait up," Liam took his phone out of his pocket, was going to record his boyfriend's voice. "Sing for me, babe." He pressed the record button.

"Rushing in a small town
I forgot to call you
I'm running low on "know-how"
This beat's made for two

'Cause I remember that I like you
No matter what I found
She said, "It's nice to have your friends round.
We're watching the television with no sound."

It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?
It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?

Push your lack of chest out, look at my hair
God, I love the way you love yourself
Your obsession with rocks and brown
And fucking the whole town's
A reflection on your mental health

'Cause I remember when I found you
Much younger than you are now
And once we started having friends round
You created a television of your mouth

It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?
It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?

You got something to say?
Why don't you speak it out loud, instead of living in your head?
It's always the same
Why don't you take your heart out, instead of living in your head?

It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?
It's just you and I tonight
Why don't you figure my heart out?"
