Liam was sitting on the grass, puffing the smoke out of his mouth. He was watching some of his friends running across the field playing football, meanwhile the others were sprawled around him, smoking the same brand of cigarette as his.

"Didn't know you swing both ways."

Liam looked at his friend, Andy, with a grin on his face, "didn't know either." Andy nodded, "No pressure, I mean I'm cool with that. We are all. But, how? You never told me anything about him."

His expression changed as he examined the cigarette in his hand, like it was made of gold. "There's just something in him that I can't, like, refuse?"

Andy turned to lay on his front, resting on his elbows. "What is it?"

"Don't exactly know." He breathed the smoke from the cigarette in completely, didn't stop for anything and then exhaled it from his lungs. It felt super harsh on his throat but he's used to it. "Zayn is very quiet, if you first seen him. He is shy and all, not very social skilled. But once you get to know him and gain his trust, it's pretty easy to break his walls down. And I want to know more of him... Study him better." He tossed the cigarette to the ground, only to lit up a new one. "And he is beautiful, those eyes.. And his smile. Plus he is nice to be around with, feels like I can only be myself when I'm with him."

One of his friend smacked the back of his head as he walked by, "yeah lover boy, and if by staring could kill then you'd be dead already." He shouted.

Liam turned around, only to found a pair of hazel eyes staring daggers at him. Shit. He cursed at himself, shoving the cigarette to Andy's empty hand. He quickly got up on his legs and approached his boyfriend.

"Zayn that wasn't what it looks like," He tried to explain. The shorter lad backed away as he got closer to him.

"But it is to me." The glare remained.

Liam went to place his hands on Zayn's shoulder, but before he could do that, he got like, quiet a slap across his face. His friends stopped whatever they were doing, their attention was now on the pair.

Zayn just didn't know how to react, it was like his hand was moving by his own. Now he felt terribly guilty that he just slapped his boyfriend after a week they dated. Great.

"I- I'm... Sorry." He didn't know what to say. It was so awkward for him. This is why Zayn was never in a relationship before. He was mad at Liam for breaking his promise, but now he's the one who was apologizing?

"You- You promised to quit smoking... My dad, he, the cancer", Zayn trailed. Not sure of how to form the words. Liam found it cute, but the stinging pain in his cheek stopped him from smiling. "I deserve it." Liam rubbed his cheek, wasn't feeling mad even for a bit for Zayn because really though, he deserved it.

"Would you come with me?"

Zayn furrowed his eyebrows, a frown was plastered on his face. "I'm mad at you. I'm not supposed to follow your request." And the second the words left his mouth, the more he felt so dumb standing there, Liam was looking amused. Zayn had to mentally palm his face. A relationship would never be his thing.

"Your, um, your friends." Zayn noticed the jocks were still looking at them, and he was never felt this embarrassed all of his life before.

"They wouldn't mind. Come on." Liam pulled the smaller guy out of the field area, to the car park. Zayn was protesting, but Liam managed to get his boyfriend in his car and buckled the seat belt for him before driving out of the school.

"Where are you kidnapping me?" The corners of Zayn's lips were tugged downwards.

Liam chuckled at his 'angry' boyfriend, "you'll see."
