Chapter 19
"You know full well as I do the value of sisters' affections: There is nothing like it in this world."
-Charlotte Bronte
When Rhys finished telling the story of what happened, I broke down into sobs. Everything I saw turned to the red dust, and I was now in a crystalline, red room. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and turned around to look. "Lyric? Lyric! Ohmigosh I missed you so much!" I kept crying, but now they were tears of joy. I got up and hugged her. "Rissy! I've missed you too." We hugged each other for just a moment. "What happened? Where am I? Did I actually die?" Lyric laughed through her tears. "Yes. You did die, but it's okay. The red dust gave you powers. We're inside the locket!" I was really confused. "But how are you here then? You're-" "Dead, I know. When you wanted me back, the red dust put me inside the locket, and took you with it..." I sat on the floor. "So I'm dead because I wanted to see you?" She nodded. "Then we have to find a way out."
