*Still Jack's P.O.V*

When I got to Alex’s I walked in. “Yo Lex! You here?”

I heard him called out “In living room.”

I walked into his living room seeing Alex and Zach playing Call Of Duty.

I sat down “Damn, thanks for the invite.”

Alex chuckled “Sorry. I thought you were with Ri.”

“I was supposed to be.”

Zach spoke up “Supposed to be?”

I sighed “Cass was the one who text me. Ri wasn’t there.”

Alex paused the game “What happened?”

I went into explaining what happened with Ava and myself then what happened with Cassadee.

Alex sighed “Damn man...”

Zach shook his head “That’s fucked up.”

I nodded “Tell me about it.”

Alex sighed “But I understand why she’s worried. With your past she is just afraid Ava will just be another girl you use.”

I was stunned to hear Alex say that “Do you really think I would do that?”

Before Alex could answer I stood up “I came to you hoping you would make me feel better but you made me feel worse. Glad you all think I’m a shitty person.”

Zach sighed “Jack, that’s not what Alex meant.”

I turned out “Whatever. Just forget it. Glad I finally know how everyone feels. Thanks for nothing.”

I went home and decided to go to bed. I felt like shit and really didn’t want to deal with anyone’s crap.

I woke up the next morning and was more mad than I was the previous night. I spent the next week trying to figure out what to do next. Between Alex and Cassadee I was torn on what to do.

Finally I turned to the one person that knew Ava better than anyone else.

I walked in “Yo Matt! You home?”

I heard him chuckled “No I just always leave my door unlock. You also text me to see if I would be home.”

I walked into his kitchen “Just double checking.”

I sat down on a bar stool watching him clean out his fridge.

He turned to me “So what’s up?”

I sighed “It’s about Ava...”

He sighed “Man, I made an agreement with Ava that I would not get involved.”

“Please just help me. Give me advice.”

He sighed “Fine. What’s wrong?”

I explained what happened.

He took a minute “And you let them stop you from going to see her?”

I sighed nodding.

He shook his head “Then you, my friend are an idiot. If you love her then it shouldn’t matter what they say. You shouldn’t be here with me but with her.”

I stood up “You’re right! Thank Matt.”

He smiled “No problem, Jack. I’m actually routing for you two.”

I smiled “At least someone is.”

I quickly ran out of the house to head home to plan my trip to see Ava.
